Fans chat with Stan Lee AI hologram at LA Comic Con  Marvel comic book superhero creator Stan Lee has returned to LA Comic Con in holographic form to meet fans of his characters, including Spider-Man, Hulk, Iron Man and Thor. Fans were excited to interact with the hologram of Lee, who died in 2018 at the age of 95, in an enclosed booth at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Sept. 26, 2025.  Gilbert Orozco from Orange County called the experience 'really dope,' while content creator Melissa Maddock praised the veracity of the virtual Lee's answers. 01:19So getting to know that he thought that Spider-Man would save the world,

01:23it was amazing to know. And it made me so happy.

01:31Obviously it's posthumous, so it's a bit like, does it feel a little bit icky?

01:36But it does feel like it's done really well, and obviously the whole experience is done in collaboration

01:40with the Stan Lee Foundation and his family and approval and all that.

01:43Obviously there's always moral questions behind that.

01:45But I think, as an experience, it's quite impressive.
