00:02Start with Ian.
00:03Hello, Pat.
00:04Can I ask first about Erling Haaland's availability for this game?
00:07Is he okay?
00:08He's ready.
00:09And the other players who have been injured or have had doubts about them?
00:13Kusinov, Kovacic, Atenori.
00:16Atenori, Ryan, Cherkinov, Kusinov, Marnov, and Kovacic, maybe.
00:25Right, okay.
00:25How much of a boost would it be to have Matteo back after all this time?
00:30A lot.
00:31But you have to be careful, I guess.
00:32Yeah, a long injury, surgery, but it's getting better.
00:36It's not fully ready, but step by step.
00:39Obviously, the game this weekend against Burnley brings you up against Kyle Walker,
00:43coming back to City for the first time.
00:45What are your emotions about coming up against Kyle for the first time after leaving?
00:49I'm pretty sure that everybody's happy to see him back in a place like
00:55have been an unbelievable figure for us, like without him.
00:58He's been the right back that defines our tenor here, our time here in the last nine,
01:08ten years old, years.
01:09So I'm pretty sure he will get the gratitude for our fans because absolutely he deserves it.
01:17Hi, Pep.
01:18You've got an excellent record against Burnley in recent years.
01:22What are you expecting from them tomorrow?
01:26The first game was in the Championship with Scott.
01:28They made an unbelievable job.
01:30Always Scott Parker had done terrible jogging everywhere.
01:33So Premier League always is tough in every game.
01:38So, yeah, we have a good vibe in the team and hopefully tomorrow we can continue.
01:47Five goals conceded in the league this season.
01:50One was in injury time last week, last minute against Brighton, injury time first half against Spurs.
01:57Is that the conceding of Legos, is that the pattern becoming a concern for you?
02:03I'm concerned with what he can do tomorrow or what he has done lately.
02:07It's only I'm concerned.
02:09That's the only concern?
02:10Yeah.
02:11I have many concerns but not this one.
02:14Are you able to expand on those concerns?
02:18Prepare the game as best as possible.
02:19Try to convince the players what you have to do tomorrow in terms of what you have done many good things in the last game, in the previous games.
02:31It's an important week for us.
02:32The last three games before the international break, we had an incredible tough week last week.
02:38In terms of difficult opponents and demanding and I'm ready for this week.
02:43Champions League again, all the time it's because of the booms when I feel we are still there to play in that competition.
02:49So, yeah, primarily two games and after we take a break.
02:57Hi, Pep.
02:59I know we spoke last week about Phil Foden's importance to the team and obviously the way he's growing again this year after injury.
03:06Do you get the sense that he is now fully fit and also embracing the responsibility of being a key part of your team again after what's been a really frustrating time?
03:16Recent Phil always took responsibility since that he won.
03:19I remember when he was 17, 18 years old when he started to play and train with us, I said that guy.
03:23And the biggest, the biggest example is a game against Arsenal, like everybody was exhausted and tired because we run a lot behind the ball and we parked the bus and so on.
03:34So, in that moment, Phil said, I want to play again and I want to play again.
03:40And when, it's what happened when he arrived, right, with 17, 18, 19 years old and want to play every day because he was happy, the joy to play.
03:51And that is the best sign that he's ready.
03:53And after he played good or bad, good decision, bad decision, this is not the point.
03:57This is not the point.
03:58We know everything, what all of us, we know Phil can do.
04:02I don't want to put him pressure.
04:04It's just the joy to play football.
04:05And when I said his physical condition is outstanding, you know, his recovery time and everything.
04:14His mind is ready.
04:16He can play every three days with a high intensity and a good level.
04:19And the game we played against Huddersfield was, again, really, really good.
04:24It feels like a couple of the attacking options are coming back.
04:27I know Savino has obviously got back in the team as well lately after injury.
04:32How important can he be as a player that obviously last year played a lot for you in the Premier League, didn't he?
04:37Savino created a lot of chances.
04:39How important is he to your fluidity up front?
04:41Savino, in a moment, will make a click in the final third to make a not bad decision.
04:47The goal, for example.
04:49So, as we talk about the people up front, front is numbers.
04:53It's goals and assists, assists, goals, goals and assists, assists, goals.
04:55So, the people up front is there.
04:58And Savino created a lot last season, but the final third, the final, you know, a little bit too hectic in the right moment.
05:06And then the moment he improved that, because he's so young, 21, 22 years old.
05:10So, the more improved, he will be a top-class player, because he can play on both sides.
05:14His slow speed, his work ethic, and he created a lot last game against Huddersfield, because, for me, when I analyse what they do, the body language, and especially the decision you take, it doesn't matter you play Championship, Premier League, League One, League Two, it doesn't matter.
05:31It's how you do it.
05:32He created a lot.
05:33And Savino, at the moment we make this step, the natural way it will come, the natural way it will come, Savino will be a top player for Mancini.
05:41And, just finally, Erling can benefit, I would imagine, as well, couldn't he, from having that consistency of those players around him in form?
05:49Because, obviously, now we've got Docky, who's been fantastic so far this season, Foden's coming back, Savino, you know.
05:54And Omar will be back, and Cherky will be back.
05:55I know nobody believes me, but I'm credible, optimistic, and positive what's going to happen this season.
06:03Pep, are you expecting a low block from Berlin, like they did against Liverpool at home?
06:09Or, you think this is becoming less...
06:11We did it, no, he didn't do it against the Spurs, and he did it against Liverpool, he's adapt.
06:16He's adapt.
06:18So, there are moments he can do high-pressing, there are moments where you go block, you have to be...
06:21What you have to do when the people decide high-pressing, we're working with it, and we have to do what they have to do when the people are low-block.
06:28We have done it in ten years, so this is the way when a team is better.
06:34Read the situations that open an offer on the table and take the solution.
06:41Is it fair to say you have less than, in the first years in England, teams coming here and playing the low-block because of this man-to-man or high-pressing?
06:50No, it depends.
06:53In the beginning of the season, everybody is so brave.
06:56During the season, we go forward, all the clubs and managers, we see the schedule on the table, and after that, we adapt a little bit.
07:03But, to be honest, we talk every day, maybe it can happen this, maybe it can happen that.
07:09In the past, maybe I was more sure it's going to happen this, and tomorrow, I don't know, we have to adapt.
07:13Just going back to Kyle, obviously you've been in a game a long time.
07:19Where does he rank among the right-backs that you've played with?
07:24One of the greatest, one of the greatest, in terms of consistency and no injuries and play every single game.
07:31In part, incredible figure in the locker room.
07:33So, Kyle, I don't know, lives for one week, one month, and in like nine years, eight years, I've been with us.
07:42In eight years, six Premier League, Champions League, I don't know, 14, 18 titles, always being there, being there in the good moments, bad moments.
07:51So, Kyle, of course, the last season was tough for everyone, for him, for all of us, but I don't judge one behaviour for a short period of time.
08:08It was unbelievable.
08:10Because in England, we don't really recognise the incredible players that we produce until they've finished.
08:18But would you have him up there with, I don't know, Zanetti or a Taram or Cafu as one of the real greats of the game in that position?
08:30I didn't understand that question.
08:32Would he be, would Walker be up with like Zanetti or Cafu or William Taram?
08:41One of the greatest fullbacks ever, yeah.
08:43When, when you had to control that side, when you control that side with the wingers and the wingers was focused, oh my God, I slept like a baby for the games.
08:53I was at Kyle there, you know, when he was completely in the game and doing that, he can handle top, top class wingers in the world, the speed and Kyle was, was good.
09:05And always, we tried to help him with the ball to read the situation, what do you do?
09:09And Corey said, he was, you know, a better player than maybe he could think.
09:14And my target for the day one was, you are good, Kyle.
09:16You're long balls, you're, you're quality of your pass and everything.
09:20So he was, you know, uh, there was, well, it was, uh, yeah, I'm probably right back.
09:29Hi, Pep.
09:30Um, all three promoted teams have been relegated in the last two seasons.
09:34I just wondered what you think of the three promoted teams this year, Burnley, Leeds and Sunderland.
09:39Are you expecting them to be more competitive in the Premier League this season?
09:42Apparently, yeah.
09:42But let me 10-15 games in the Premier League, you know, when you play just five, it's, it's too early from a point of view for taking an opinion.
09:51But apparently, finally, Leeds with Daniel is, and Leeds the stadium, you know, with the fans.
10:00And of course, the other two, looks like Sunderland, spend a lot and start really well.
10:07And Burnley's got, you know, bring top, top figures like Kyle.
10:11And another one, so apparently, yeah, but we don't know, to be honest.
