Watch: The McKinnon brothers - Sam and Charlie - after North Warrnambool's 2025 grand final win
Transcript
00:00Congratulations, two brothers, now Premiership players. How are you feeling?
00:03Absolutely surreal. It's taken us a few years to get him, but it's made it even sweeter.
00:08It's been a good day ever.
00:10Charlie, you're trying for hard. Just make it one sec.
00:14In the last quarter, Charlie, you set Sam up for a goal. That must have been pretty special.
00:17Yeah, no, it was pretty cool. I set him running through the middle, so it was good to hit him up there.
00:20And yeah, he finished it off strong.
00:22And what does it mean to you, Sam, to win a Premiership for your home club?
00:25It means everything, but to do it with Charlie, it means more. It's just, it worked so hard for us.
00:31Good to finally get one. It's just so much relief.
00:34And does it feel as good as you thought it would?
00:36Yeah, by the way, it's probably better. The weight's probably made it even better, but yeah, it's a real feeling.
00:41Good to finally get the job done.
00:43And Charlie, you're still in your 17, you've played in three senior grand finals, and now you've finally got one.
00:47But at your age, how does it feel to be able to do that?
00:50It's obviously a pretty ordinary feeling being on the other side, but we've had to deal with that the past two years.
00:55So this year, it's great to finally get the job done. It's a real feeling.
00:59Congratulations, boys.
