00:21Police! Stop!
00:30Stop!
00:38Oh!
00:39Hands!
00:40Hands!
00:41Hands!
00:46What the f***?
00:48Hosted by Sean Sticks Larkin.
00:52You know you were on camera, right?
00:55Welcome to Crime Cam 24-7.
00:58We kicked things off with an Arkansas State Trooper in pursuit of a man operating a vehicle with no license plate.
01:05Now, if the vehicle was a car, the officer could potentially use stop sticks or a pit maneuver.
01:10This is when police tap the rear of the vehicle, hoping to spin it out and disable it.
01:15But in this case, the officer is chasing a motorcycle, which leaves far fewer options.
01:21Typically in these situations, law enforcement will either give up the pursuit, hope for them to stop, or wait for them to crash.
01:29The last one is not an ideal option.
01:31But as you're about to see, sometimes even that won't bring the situation to an end.
01:36Check it out.
01:43Little Rock, Arkansas.
01:46Thursday, October 13th, 2022, 118 AM.
01:52It's late night, and an officer and a cruiser is pursuing this biker because he doesn't have a license plate on his motorcycle.
02:03Earlier, the officer tried to pull the man over, but instead of complying, he took off.
02:09Looks like a black male, green backpack, black helmet.
02:14Only one half of my 30.
02:16The motorcycle weaves between cars.
02:23And the officer is able to stay close behind him, even as he reaches dangerous speeds.
02:29We're up on the Camp Robinson exit.
02:31He's in the middle lane.
02:33Speed, 100.
02:34100.
02:40The biker takes the exit off the highway and checks behind him.
02:44He confirms that he's still being pursued.
02:49Showing no signs of slowing down, the biker runs one stop sign.
02:54Coming up on the highway, 176.
02:57Followed by another.
02:58Coming up on 176.
02:59He drifts into the oncoming lane and sees the police are still right behind him.
03:04He's driving in the oncoming lane, back on the eastbound side, on Highway 156.
03:14I'm here, Robert.
03:16Seconds later, the man cuts through a parking lot.
03:19But it looks like a bad decision because there's a busy road in his path.
03:35He blazes through the stop sign and right between two cars as he enters a residential area.
03:41We're westbound, coming up on Allen Street.
03:46But it looks like the uneasy rider is finally running out of road.
03:50On Allen.
03:52Hitting a literal dead end.
03:56He jumps off the bike and takes off on foot, just out of view of the dash cam.
04:03He's on foot.
04:04He crashed out.
04:06Off camera, officers continue the pursuit on foot and tase the fleeing suspect.
04:11But it's not enough to stop him, until the voltage from the taser produces a shocking result.
04:18I'll shoot him. I'll shoot him. I'll shoot him.
04:21He's on fire!
04:22He's on fire!
04:23Get a extinguisher!
04:25Get a extinguisher!
04:26Get a extinguisher!
04:27Get a extinguisher!
04:31As the man runs away with the taser probe still attached to his body, he falls onto his backpack,
04:37which, unknown to officers, contains a gallon of gasoline.
04:40The impact, combined with the electricity from the taser, causes the fuel to spontaneously combust, engulfing the man in flames.
04:51He's on fire!
04:52He's on fire!
04:53He's on fire!
04:54Get a extinguisher!
04:55Extinguisher!
04:56While the officers race back to their vehicle to get a fire extinguisher, the suspect
05:02rolls frantically on the ground until the officers come back to put him out.
05:08I got him off.
05:11He's not on fire anymore.
05:13We're 10-15.
05:14He's on the ground!
05:1738-year-old Christopher Gaylor was treated by officers and EMTs who arrived soon after,
05:23before being taken to the hospital where he recovered from his injuries.
05:27Reportedly, the officers were unaware of the gasoline in the backpack and were not placed under investigation.
05:36Gaylor was charged with felony fleeing, failure to register a vehicle, driving with a suspended license, and reckless driving.
05:47Tehamaa County, California, Sunday, October 15th, 2023, 1137 AM.
06:00A California highway patrol car is pulling over to perform a check on this white sedan because it stopped and parked on the side of the road.
06:08And he lets dispatch know.
06:10I'm going to be out with a white Honda.
06:12Stopped out.
06:14The officer approaches the passenger side door and gives a knock, but no one answers.
06:23He can't see through the blacked out tent on the passenger side windows, so he tries to look through the windshield.
06:29Hey, can you roll down your window?
06:31Reportedly, a sunshade is blocking his view.
06:37With no one responding and no way to see inside, he cautiously backs away towards his vehicle to make a report, while keeping an eye on the car.
06:48Suddenly, and without warning, the driver's door opens.
06:52An unwelcome sight for the deputy.
06:54Hey, stay in your vehicle.
06:55Hey, hey.
06:56802, 802.
06:57Shots fired.
06:58Shots fired.
06:59Shots fired.
07:00Shots fired.
07:01The driver unexpectedly exits the vehicle and points a rifle directly at the patrolman, who immediately fires, striking the man.
07:15802, 802.
07:16Shots fired.
07:17Shots fired.
07:18Shots fired.
07:191199.
07:20I'm not hit.
07:21I'm not hit.
07:22The officer informs dispatch that he's okay and requests assistance, while the suspect rides on the ground in pain.
07:30He's got a long gun.
07:31Long gun on the ground.
07:32Stay on the ground!
07:33Do not touch that gun!
07:34The injured suspect still has the rifle by his side.
07:37The patrolman keeps a close eye on him until backup can arrive.
07:41Keep your hands, I can see him.
07:43Do not reach that gun!
07:45Though crystal clear instructions have been given, the suspect doesn't follow commands.
07:50Stay on the ground!
07:51Stay on the ground!
07:52Stay on the ground!
07:53Do not do it!
07:54He picks up his rifle and fires it, striking the officer.
08:09A barrage of shots are exchanged.
08:11A piece of the patrol car that's been shot off can be seen on the hood.
08:20The suspect gets up and heads towards the patrol car, continuing to fire at the wounded officer, who has taken cover on the passenger side of the vehicle.
08:30The dash cam shakes as the suspect slams the driver's side door.
08:34The armed man is now behind the wheel and drives away.
08:37The patrolman, who's been left behind, reports his status, which the suspect can hear on the radio.
08:43802, I'm hit!
08:44802, I'm hitting the leg!
08:45802, I'm hitting the leg!
08:46802, I'm hitting the leg!
08:47He's taking off with the patrol vehicle!
08:50As he listens, the car thief picks up speed, fleeing down the road.
09:00After successfully zigzagging through traffic on the two-lane highway for approximately four minutes, the fleeing suspect cuts it a little too close to a large semi and veers off the road before coming to a stop in a field.
09:16The view from a dash cam on the truck shows the stolen police vehicle colliding into its front end, causing the semi to roll on its side.
09:29Before coming to a stop on the shoulder of the road.
09:34Let's go!
09:35Moments later, police arrive at the crash and find the suspect in the field.
09:40Nearby, the stolen patrol car has caught fire from the collision, and they need to drag him to safety.
09:56Fire's coming!
09:57That's good!
09:58That's good!
09:59That's good!
10:00You got any weapons on ya?
10:03Two more!
10:04Is that the ammunition in there going off?
10:08Weapons safe, everybody?
10:09Yep!
10:10We're good, we're good!
10:12The scorched patrol car is seen from above by a California Police Air Unit.
10:1739-year-old suspect, Joseph Michael Pate, was treated for multiple gunshot wounds at
10:22the scene and transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
10:27The officer sustained serious injuries from being shot in the abdomen, shoulder, and leg.
10:32He underwent surgery and has since recovered.
10:36The driver of the semi-truck suffered minor injuries.
10:40Through experience, officers develop a sick sense when something just isn't right during
10:44a traffic stop.
10:45You can actually see the officer walking back towards his vehicle kind of sideways with
10:50his hand on his gun.
10:52He saw something in there that he knew wasn't right.
10:54And that's why he was ready for the gun battle as soon as the suspect got out of the car.
11:06Prepare for more feeds.
11:09Cleveland, Ohio, Thursday, December 1, 2022, 1-23 PM.
11:21A single customer is standing at the counter of this mobile phone store.
11:27The young woman is waiting for the owner, who has just repaired her broken phone screen.
11:34All fixed, he hands it over to her, and then slides the pen pad forward so she can make
11:39the $125 payment for the repair.
11:44The woman tells him she'll pay cash instead, but then decides she'd rather not pay at all.
11:52As the owner hands the woman one of the store business cards, she grabs it and attempts to run for
12:03the exit without paying.
12:05But the calm and collected owner is one step ahead of her, remotely locking the door.
12:11The would-be thief has the nerve to tell the owner to open the door, but instead he gives
12:23her a simple choice.
12:24The woman ignores the owner's fair offer and calls her mom for help.
12:38While the woman waits for her mom to show, she attempts a bit of negotiation.
12:56But the owner won't budge.
13:01Can I have my phone back and I'll put your screen back on and you can go to your mom?
13:08My mom's about to come up here.
13:09I don't want your mom in here.
13:10Give me my phone back.
13:11Give me my screen back.
13:12My phone?
13:13Oh, true.
13:14But if she thinks the owner is tough, wait till mom shows up.
13:19Now, where the was going now?
13:21We tried to run out of the store.
13:23Okay.
13:24And I told her, I told her, give me the phone, I'll take the screen off and we can be done
13:31with this.
13:32And she wasn't having it.
13:33Here in the man's side of the story, mom gives her daughter one very simple instruction.
13:39The owner puts the broken screen back on and returns the phone, kindly allowing them to
13:55leave without notifying police.
14:00Have you captured a crime on camera?

14:19Prepare for more feeds.
14:22Next up, when someone comes face to face with an armed assailant, there's no question what
14:27the safest course of action is.
14:29Stay calm, do what they ask, and hope for the best.
14:32But there are times when demands just can't be met.
14:36At that point, survival instincts kick in and all bets are off.
14:47Stone Mountain, Georgia.
14:50Monday, July 1st, 2024.
14:54426 AM.
14:56A security camera in the multipurpose area of a Chick-fil-A, 15 miles northeast of Atlanta,
15:02shows a pretty quiet scene in the wee hours of the morning.
15:05The restaurant is currently closed.
15:08There's only one staff member on duty.
15:11He's here to restock items.
15:13But he's not alone.
15:17As he walks through the door, he's followed by a masked man holding a pistol.
15:23According to a police report, the intruder entered the restaurant by smashing a rock into the drive-thru window and then climbing through.
15:32Now, he points the gun at the employee and directs him to open the door to the manager's office, so he can get what he came here for.
15:40Once inside, the gunman points towards the safe, but the employee says he doesn't know the combination.
15:46This is not what the armed robber wants to hear.
15:49He gives his victim a simple ultimatum, open the safe or die.
15:55To show he means business, he cocks the gun and sticks it right in the employee's face.
16:01But despite the loaded weapon inches away, the employee brazenly grabs the gun, putting his life at stake as he fights back.
16:13The struggle for the gun leads them back into the multipurpose area, where the suspect regains control of it in his right hand.
16:22As the intense fight continues, the gunman's disguise of hat and sunglasses come off, giving the camera a better view of his face.
16:37After getting popped with a solid right, the suspect repeatedly strikes the employee in the head with the gun.
16:44But as they turn, he manages to disarm his assailant, and we see the gun on the floor.
16:51The intense combat moves back to the manager's office, where the suspect grabs the employee's throat.
17:00He breaks free as both men battle, trying anything to gain a decisive edge.
17:07The war wages back into the multipurpose room with no end in sight.
17:11The exhausted men hold onto each other in a deadlock.
17:15Without the gun, the suspect has no advantage.
17:18He soon retrieves the glove on the floor, as well as his phone.
17:23Then he spots his missing weapon.
17:26The suspect gets pushed back towards the pistol.
17:29But the employee locks up the gunman's arm, so he can't get off a clean shot.
17:34Finally, the two men appear to be running out of steam.
17:45The suspect awkwardly holds the gun in his left hand, in a non-shooting position, suggesting that perhaps he has lost command of the situation.
17:58He opens the door as the employee pushes him from the area, effectively defending the business and winning the battle.
18:09The suspect flees the scene empty-handed, leaving behind a glove, hat, and glasses.
18:15Detectives assigned to the case quickly began gathering evidence and identified a vehicle believed to be used by the suspect, 51-year-old Tommy Lee Williams.
18:28He was arrested and hit with multiple charges, including armed robbery, aggravated assault, second-degree burglary, and kidnapping.
18:36The employee suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized.
18:47Prepare for more feeds.
18:50Finally, we wrap things up with a delivery man who does a little, well, I guess the technical word for it would be stealing.
18:59Now that's a problem, and so is looking directly into a doorbell camera while you're committing the crime.
19:04You know those little cameras record, right? Check it out.
19:12Kissimmee, Florida.
19:15Saturday, May 6th, 2023.
19:196.20 PM.
19:21It's a beautiful spring day in Florida, and this doorbell camera has been activated by the movement of this car in the driveway.
19:29A food delivery man gets out and brings a bag and a beverage, placing them down in front of the door.
19:39Business as usual.
19:43He gets his phone ready to make a confirmation pic, and looks directly into the doorbell camera for a moment.
19:54As he takes a step back, he notices a package delivered earlier on the ground.
20:00He moves it away from the food so he can take a picture and confirm his completed delivery.
20:10That should pretty much be it.
20:14But the man steps towards the front door.
20:19Again, in full view of the camera.
20:23He bends over and stuffs the package under his shirt.
20:34Um, again, right in front of the camera.
20:40The victim reported the theft to the Polk County Sheriff's Office and provided the convincing video evidence.
20:45Shortly after, 52-year-old Salim Khazdagalali was tracked down and arrested for burglary and petty theft.
21:00And what was in that package, you ask?
21:02A new iPhone?
21:03Jewelry?
21:04Not exactly.
21:06The stolen goods?
21:07An automotive oil filter worth $8.52.
21:11That's got to sting.
21:13That's all for this edition of Crime Cam 24-7.
21:16I'm Sean Sticks Larkin.
21:17Thanks for watching.
