Synopsis : Flanqué de George Fury, Melody Jones arrive dans une petite ville de l'Ouest. Les habitants les prennent pour des gangsters, leur signalement correspondant à celui de deux hors-la-loi. En réalité, Melody est un cow-boy particulièrement maladroit, amoureux de la belle Cherry de Longpré, la fiancée du redoutable gangster Monte Jarrad. Melody ressemblant comme deux gouttes d'eau à Jarrad, Cherry lui demande de continuer à prendre la place de ce dernier. Bientôt, il se trouve opposé au gangster, mais Cherry finit par abattre Jarrad et épouse Melody....
