“13 Beloved” (Thai: 13 เกมสยอง, also known as 13: Game of Death) is a 2006 Thai thriller/horror film directed by Chookiat Sakveerakul.
The story follows Phuchit, a struggling salesman drowning in debt and on the verge of losing everything. One day, he receives a mysterious phone call offering him the chance to win a large cash prize if he completes a series of 13 increasingly bizarre tasks.
At first, the challenges seem harmless — like killing a fly or eating something disgusting. But as he progresses, the tasks grow darker, more humiliating, and ultimately violent. He must decide whether to continue for the promise of money or stop before losing his morality — and perhaps his life.
The movie is a sharp social commentary on greed, desperation, and the extremes people will go to for money and survival.
