Hatton ready to kick off Ryder Cup with 'fiery' Rahm

Europe's Tyrrell Hatton and Jon Rahm will play in the first match of the 2025 Ryder Cup

00:00I guess we're quite similar in some ways.

00:02We're both very fiery and passionate people.

00:11And, yeah, we have a mutual respect for one another.

00:16And certainly over the last few years,

00:18we've spent a lot of time together, which has been great.

00:22And where we've played live, and that's really where we would have got a lot closer.

00:34Before that, a regular PGA Tour event, we didn't often play practice rounds together.

00:41We weren't out for dinner most nights, say.

00:47So we obviously paired well with previous Ryder Cups.

00:55And then, yeah, it's only over the last few years where we've got to know each other a lot better.
