00:00Okay, so our biggest concern is that it stays on our face.
00:04So setting spray is a must.
00:07I actually, I'm on my little makeup table right now, but Charlotte Tilbury's setting spray.
00:13A thing that we do is after almost every step we're spraying,
00:17and that just kind of helps ensure that it stays on as long as possible.
00:21We're touching up a lot throughout the day, so no matter what, we do have to do our touch-ups.
00:26But I would say that's definitely the most important part, and setting powder as well.
00:32Just making sure we're setting, baking, all the things.
00:36And as for hair, my personal method, we all have different methods, and I think that's what's cool.
00:43If you were to ask, like, different DCCs, depending on their hair type, because everyone's hair works differently,
00:49and when you first join the team, that's when you kind of figure out your method and what works for you.
00:53But I like to curl my hair super tight in the morning.
00:56I'll take a one, like a tiny one-inch barrel, make those really small.
01:03So then, because on a game day, a lot of people don't know, it's not, we just, like, get there and do the game.
01:08No, we also have an entire game day rehearsal before, where we're pretty much running the entirety of the game
01:13before the game even starts.
01:15And then after that, there's our pregame performances, before we even get to do thundersucks.
01:20So there's, it's a very, very long day.
01:22So just making sure that they're really tight, because then by the end, they're nice, loose, voluminous waves.
01:30And heat protect it, because we fry our hair.
01:35There's a lot of girls, I've been trying to refrain from curling too much,
01:40but my rookie year, I would re-curl after every time I danced.
01:45So that was just a lot of heat damage.
01:47And, like, you can tell, well, we're hiding it, but, like, a lot of our hair does become dead
01:53if you're not using heat protectant.
01:56So that's our little tricks.
01:58Self-tanning.
01:59So we tan a lot.
02:00And a lot of times, obviously, we're dancing and we're sweating.
02:04It's frustrating, because sometimes the foundation will kind of, you'll see the line, like, on our forehead.
02:09Trick is self-tan your forehead.
02:13Because even if it comes off, the color will kind of stay there.
02:16So just heavily self-tanning on that forehead is one of our tricks.
02:21And I'm trying to think.
02:23Anything else?
02:26Blush, putting it higher up on the face versus right here.
02:30Um, just, like, little things that we've learned, um, especially since, like, we are being photographed at all times.
02:37So it's just making sure that the way we're doing our makeup, too, is for, like, flash photography.
02:43Because you would never believe, like, even when we're not supposed to be getting photographed, we are getting photographed.
02:49I'll tell you, like, the majority of our team, um, obviously everyone has different depending on their skin tone.
02:54But it's Pillow Talk Medium, uh, liner, and then Pillow Talk Fair in the center.
03:01That's, like, I know a great go-to, um, for all of us.
03:05I think I have Pillow Talk Fair on right now, actually.
03:08But that's our go-to.
03:10And then just lip liner as a whole.
03:13I never wore lip liner before making this team.
03:15Um, but it helps maintain the lipstick for a lot longer.
03:19Well, they actually, I didn't know it was going to be a brunette that day.
03:24Um, fun fact, I don't even know if many people know this, but I actually was color matched for a different shade of blonde.
03:31So before the makeovers happen, obviously extensions need to be ordered, like, a little bit in advance.
03:37So our stylist, Kevin, he comes in.
03:40They kind of do a brief view on who's going to get a makeover, and they'll, like, match you for extensions.
03:45So I was under the impression that I was going to a different shade of blonde.
03:49So when I get to the salon, and then they start putting the brown swatches near my eyes, I was also thinking it was going to be, like, low lights.
03:58And all of a sudden, I'm sitting there, and they had to go all over the state of Texas to get these extensions, because obviously you have to order them in advance.
04:07And we didn't do that, because that was, like, an in-the-spur moment.
04:10When they dropped those brown extensions on the table, that's when my heart sank.
04:13I was like, no way.
04:15But I genuinely love my hair so much, and I'm not just saying that.
04:19I don't think I'll ever go blonde again, which is so crazy, because I had envisioned my wedding, me being a blonde.
04:25But now, brunette, I think, is me.
04:29Yeah, so when I was little, born, up until, like, two, three years old, I had blonde hair.
04:34Went brunette as I was older, got brunette.
04:36And then I started dyeing my hair at, like, seventh grade.
04:39So by the time I was a senior in college, my hair was, like, white.
04:42So that's when I auditioned.
04:45Genuinely, no.
04:47Because that is something, like, I've had that uniform in my brain since I was a little girl.
04:51You know, everyone recognizes it.
04:53So I don't think there's anything I would change about it.
04:59I mean, it's just so classy and so elegant.
05:05Like, even in, like, I'll never forget when I got the uniform for the first time in person, I was like, oh, my gosh, I can't even touch this.
05:10Like, there's no way I'm putting this on my body.
05:12From the detailing of the stars to the fringe, there's not one thing I would be like, ooh, I would change that.
05:20But I know there has been modifications over the years slightly.
05:23When you're going back to the 70s, it's definitely changed a little bit since then.
05:28But that's just because times have changed.
05:30So I wonder if there'll be any modifications in the next, like, couple decades.
05:34So we'll see.
05:35So this is, like, such a super exciting collection.
05:38And I was so honored to be a part of a campaign.
05:41I'm, like, looking at the pictures and I'm like, oh, my gosh, is that real?
05:43I was actually on the website the other day.
05:45And I started freaking out because I was like, that is so cool to be able to represent something that's so close to home.
05:52So that's, like, the most amazing part.
05:54Obviously, I'm a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys.
05:56So doing this collection was just so full circle.
06:00And being able to, like, love the pieces that you're representing is also an added touch.
06:04Because I know a lot of people do campaigns.
06:06And, you know, they do it because they have to or because they feel like they need to.
06:10But, like, the girls who did this campaign, we all genuinely feel like we love the products and just want to wear them.
06:17So super exciting.
06:18I'm personally, I love a good dainty moment.
06:21I love it.
06:22So I like the tiny football one.
06:26It's, like, this cute little tiny football.
06:28It's and also the cowboy boot.
06:30I can't pick between those two.
06:32But those are my favorite just because I love, right now I have this piece on and these earrings because they kind of match.
06:41I kind of, I was like, let me just wear it to rep.
06:43But I also like the Sierra Star necklace and bracelet set.
06:48It's, like, the ones with the multiple stars.
06:50That one's also really cute, too.
06:51But I love them all.
06:53But those are, those are my faves.
06:54Those are my faves.
