00:06lot of work. Didn't like work that much. But when I, it was actually when I told people that I had

00:15a mask through an Instagram post to thank some stylists who are helping me to continue to work

00:21and to have honor and dignity and were really helping me. And when I thanked them and I saw

00:28how many people were affected and so hungry to see people that they recognized or maybe looked up

00:34to or were fans of when they were a kid to see them going through something that they or their

00:39mother, brother, sister, grandma, anything like there was a real reception for it. And I'd never

00:43been that mainstream before. I was, I was like a little nervous about everything. Didn't feel that

00:49well, you know? So it was, that was a huge turning point for me. And I think then when I walked out

00:54in those early days and wanted to go to a party, but still was in a flare and showed up at Vanity

00:59Fair with the cane and a lovely cane. Um, I had no idea how much people were really eager to see

01:07themselves in people on the screen or in a picture, you know? So that became, they became my strength

01:14to continue being vulnerable. I've joked before. Uh, he recently said this, I was like, why don't you

01:20watch more movies that I do? Like what? It's like, I don't, I don't really like love black and white

01:24movies, mom. And I just, I laugh every time I've, I've said it a couple of times since he said it,

01:30but I was like, really? He really just thinks I'm like, like Dorothy age, like tech before technicolor

01:37came, like in the thirties. So, um, he hasn't really seen anything he did when he came home

01:43from cruel intentions. He's like, mom, do you want, do you want to explain something? And I was like,

01:48what? That kiss? And he's like, no, Cecile did that in the movie. And I never realized when I was

02:00doing that in a movie that one day I would have a son that would come home and say, mom,

02:05what's this? He knows darn well what that is. He was just giving me the guff. He's, you know,

02:10he knows, but yeah, it was a little, I'm not like easily embarrassed, but, um, kind of embarrassed.
