00:00:00Today I'm building 10 secret rooms you'd never find because I want to break the
00:00:03world record for the most secret rooms built inside a house. So I'll be building
00:00:07them in places like inside my couch, under my bed, through the fridge, under
00:00:13the stairs, and so much more. Watch to the end because one of these secret rooms
00:00:18failed horribly but first we're starting big by building a secret room inside my
00:00:21couch to hide from a real detective and he'll be here at the end of the day so
00:00:25we better get started. Oh my! Got rid of the old couch? Let's start building.
00:00:29By looking at the blueprints we know that there's an old underground room used
00:00:32for vents and pipes somewhere below this living room. Dude these blueprints are
00:00:35like a million years old. I literally cannot read a thing. Blueprint failed. I'm
00:00:39afraid we might have to do this the old-fashioned way. Oh god. My friend Derek
00:00:42will be teaming up with the detective and at the end of the day they'll have one
00:00:45hour to search the entire house to try and find us. So it's go time. First I need to
00:00:49go to the store and get some more detective gear. Let's go! Every detective
00:00:54needs a camera. I could also use this to take pictures of any evidence I find is
00:00:58gonna be perfect. I'm gonna pound on the ground until I hear something and I'm
00:01:00gonna drill holes until I see something. Let's go! I'm hitting the ground to hear
00:01:04if it's hollow cuz then I'll know that there's a secret room right below. Nope.
00:01:08And after searching for about 15 minutes... Man! I got it! I got it! Look! Look! Look! Look! Oh my god. Let me check with the hammer. Let me check with the hammer.
00:01:16That sounds pretty hollow to me. That's hollow. This is it. This is a black light flashlight. You could go in a dark room and turn it on it'll expose
00:01:23fingerprint stains and so much more. Yo! Night vision goggles. A magnifying glass. A briefcase. Tell me how it'll look good.
00:01:29First we're gonna start by cutting a giant hole in my floor. Next we're gonna be able to access the underground secret room to the hole we just cut.
00:01:35But before that... I'm gonna use my tape measure to see how deep this room actually is. Oh my god. Eight feet deep.
00:01:40That's a big freaking hole! And to be sure we can make it all the way down there safely...
00:01:43We made this sketchy contraption to simulate what it'll be like to jump through the hole about a cut in my floor.
00:01:47It's eight feet deep just like the secret room. About to find out if it's safe or not. Let's go.
00:01:52Oh! Oh! Our test failed. Back to the drawing board. I'm back from the store and the first product I'm gonna
00:01:58test is this black light flashlight. All right, we're in here. Everything looks fine. Three, two, one.
00:02:07Yo! What is that? Dude, there's stuff all over the toilet. Dude, is this a handprint? Let's go a little deeper.
00:02:13Dude, there's more on this toilet. That is disgusting. All right guys, at least we know the black light flashlight
00:02:17works, but I don't know if I wanted to see all that. Back at the house, cut a giant hole, put a slide
00:02:21to enter the secret room safely, and it was time to answer the question. Who's going in there?
00:02:25I am definitely not going in there. You are. I think the subscribers at home want you to go in.

00:02:34Oh! That slide is way too steep and way too fast. It's time to check this place out. What is this place?
00:02:41We have a bunch of old paint right here, random vents, random room, and then just nothing. This is terrifying.
00:02:47So is this going to work? Yes or not? It might work, but it will definitely be the most terrifying
00:02:51secret room we've ever made. That's right, we're going all out to make sure this detective doesn't
00:02:55find us. But if he does, I've agreed to give away $5,000. So what's about to get crazy?

00:03:10I thought it'd be a good idea to look in the vents, and a giant freaking spider fell in my head.
00:03:13With the detective on his way, Derek started training to make sure he could impress him.
00:03:16The goal is to go through this whole entire laser course without getting hit by a laser. First
00:03:20one we're going over and under. Over this, under that. We're going to hop over. I'm going to limbo this
00:03:27one. Okay. Here we go. One leg over. Other leg over. Perfect. Don't hit your head, don't hit your head,
00:03:39don't hit your head. Ow! Back at the house. It's time to get rid of all these spiders. I went in first
00:03:47last time. I think it's your turn. All right, fine. Whoa! Now it's my turn. Spider! Where? Where? Where?
00:04:00Daisy! There should be all of them. As you guys can see behind me, we have my investigation map. We have Ben Cam.
00:04:07Ben's girlfriend Hannah. She might be a part of this, so of course we put her on the board. If you look
00:04:12down here, we have every possible place in Ben's house. We have outside, kitchen, living room, bathroom.
00:04:17It all leads us to the possible secret room. We're here at a furniture store to buy the perfect secret
00:04:21couch. And then we're going to cut a hole in it to make the secret room entrance. Let's go! There are so
00:04:25many couches in this store. Now all we have to do is just measure and see which couch is the perfect
00:04:29couch to cover the giant hole in my living room. Nah, not this one. I really like this one. It's really
00:04:34comfy. It doesn't matter how comfy it is. It's about how secret it is. I don't care. It's really
00:04:38comfy. This couch looks promising. Let's measure. Not this one either. Oh, this one's even comfier.
00:04:43Are you kidding me? Come on. We got to find the perfect couch. The problem with a lot of these
00:04:47couches is a giant gap from the couch to the floor. If the detective walks by, he's going to see our
00:04:51secret room and we are exposed. And after searching forever, we found the perfect couch. And just like
00:04:55that, the giant hole in my living room is poof, gone. Back at the warehouse, Derek had an interesting
00:05:00idea. After all the information I've gathered today, it's still not enough. So we're doing an
00:05:04interrogation. The person I'm interrogating today knows a lot about Ben and a lot about his house.
00:05:09It is his mom. Yes, Derek is about to interrogate my mom. He is not messing around. Is there any more
00:05:16spots in the house that I need to know about? In the closet, there's this little thing that you lift up
00:05:20and there's like a space under there. So you're telling me there's secret underground space in the
00:05:25closets of this house? Yes. Now that I think about it, what kind of car is your son driving right now?
00:05:30Gray truck. That is also great information. So behind us are a bunch of spy gadgets that we
00:05:36bought on Amazon. We got spy glasses, a teddy bear hidden camera, a smoke detector camera, a charger
00:05:40camera, a secret rock that helps you hide keys, and a sound listening device. The detective is never
00:05:45going to find us. Charging brick camera? Check. Sunglasses camera? Check. Teddy bear camera? Check.
00:05:49Smoke detector camera? Check. Alarm clock camera? Check. All right guys, quick little update. I have a
00:05:54spontaneous idea. I'm going to go to Ben's house right now and spy on him. I can stay inside my
00:05:59car and spy from a distance. Now it's time to cut open the couch and build a secret entrance. What are
00:06:03you doing? Get out! Why did you actually cut the pillow in half? Because you told me to. No, we're
00:06:08supposed to lift it up and then cut underneath it. Yeah, I messed up, but now we have to clean all this
00:06:11up because if the detective finds even just one feather on the floor, he's going to know what we're up to.
00:06:15And after 30 minutes of cleaning, there's no more feathers. All right, we just got to Ben's house. I'm going to park
00:06:19outside and I brought a disguise. Do you think he's going to know it's me? Perfect. Oh, there he is.
00:06:24This is good. This is good. This is good. He had some type of towel. Maybe their hiding spot has to
00:06:28do with water. Now it was time to cut a bigger hole in the couch. Here goes nothing. Our secret room
00:06:34now has a secret entrance. There is one giant rule when it comes to secret rooms, and it's that they need
00:06:38to be as customized as possible. I'm talking tv, a pool table, a couch, snacks, lights, video games. To the store!
00:06:44Meanwhile, Derek was slowly catching on to us. There's Ben and Cam. There's Ben and Cam. Dude, they're
00:06:49leaving. Dude, where could they be going? Oh, he's going to come right towards me. He's going to come
00:06:53right towards me. Dude, that was close. All right, we got to follow Ben. We got to follow Ben. Got my
00:07:00disguise on. They're not even going to know I'm following him. I think that's Derek following us.
00:07:03Why is he following us? What is he wearing? Ben has still not noticed that we are behind him. Is he
00:07:07trying to be like secretive or something? Because it's not working. He's got to keep our distance,
00:07:11stay stealthy. If he actually follows us to target, we have to do something to mess with him. We should
00:07:15definitely do a decoy and kind of throw him off on his path. Oh, absolutely. We're here at the store
00:07:20to buy everything we need to make this the coolest secret room on planet earth and to also give our
00:07:24friend Derek a few little hints. If you know what we mean. Let's go inside. Okay, they went into
00:07:28target. I'm going to keep following them, but I'm going to keep a safe distance so they don't see me.
00:07:32Every secret room needs video games, so we're buying a PS5. I'll take that. Video games? A mini arcade
00:07:37machine. Oh, it's perfect. They're not taking this serious at all. We obviously need a tv to watch some
00:07:41Netflix and some YouTube. Put that right up here. Just like that. Bro, that's not going to fit.
00:07:45Let's keep shopping. I gotta follow. Oh, they got Prime. Strawberry watermelon, blueberry, metamoon.
00:07:51Dodger Prime. I thought I was going to get some good clues and good context on where they're going
00:07:55to be, and they're just messing around the whole time. We're going to be in there all day, which means
00:07:58we can't be hungry. Let's grab a lot of food. This is a one-person ice bath. We're going to make it
00:08:02a jacuzzi. I'm excited for this one. Look, look, look. I see them. I see them. I see them. Mini basketball hoops for our
00:08:06secret room. Absolutely. A freaking ping-pong table. We're going to buy that. I know Derek's in target right now.
00:08:10Trying to spy on us? Yeah. We want Derek to think we're doing something completely different than
00:08:14a couch secret room. I say we go to the bathroom and try to trick them some way, thinking we're
00:08:18going to use a toilet. Are they going to the bathroom together? Only girls do that. I gotta
00:08:23investigate. This is sus. This is perfect. Has anyone done a toilet secret room? I don't think so. I think
00:08:28it would be the first. Bro, this is genius. This is so genius. Success. We gave him a false hint. All right,
00:08:34all right. We got what we needed. They said something about using a toilet to enter the secret room.
00:08:37That's a huge clue. With Derek running off with the wrong idea, we checked out, came back with the
00:08:41items, threw everything down the hole, and then ran into a major problem. The TV does not fit. Cam,
00:08:46you try to make this TV fit in the hole. I'm going to keep it alone in the car. All right,
00:08:49you can count on me. Yes, it's exactly what it looks like. Cam literally cut the TV in half.
00:08:54It's gonna fit. Yeah. What? Dude, it's gonna fit. Oh, just put it right here. You've cut the TV in half.
00:09:00Yeah, because I needed to make it fit. That was destroyed. No, we can still use it. We just need to put it back
00:09:03good. You cannot fix this. Um, I think I need to cut it again. Let's just throw it away. No,
00:09:07we need a TV. From the information that I gathered at Target, I'm going to show you guys three ways that
00:09:13they could use the toilet for their secret room. Number one, they wired a secret entrance to this
00:09:18lid, and when you lift it up, the secret room is revealed. And option number two could be toilet
00:09:23lever. You flush it, and the secret room is revealed. That would be crazy. And the worst option,
00:09:29number three could be inside of the toilet. Knowing Ben and Cam, they would definitely put
00:09:34a button inside the back of the toilet, so I don't have to reach down and touch it. And then the
00:09:40secret room would be revealed. I really hope that's not the case. Now that we've got some more
00:09:44information, let's add it to the investigation map. Since they have something to do with toilets,
00:09:47I'm putting it right here. That's perfect. It's all coming together. Ben and Cam, I'm onto you.
00:09:51There's no hiding from me. We successfully got everything into the secret room. Step one is to paint,
00:09:56but the only problem is the detective is on its way, which means we do not have time to paint,
00:10:00so we're gonna hang Ben's bed sheets on the wall. We were making a lot of progress, but then...
00:10:05Uh, Ben? Uh, there's a, there's a spider in there. Oh! Oh, oh, oh, oh, okay. I thought we killed
00:10:10them all. Well, apparently not. Oh god, it's gone now. With the spider now gone, we got back to work,
00:10:15and before you knew it, voila. Oh! We have snacks, video games, pool table, a hanging chair. I just
00:10:22realized we forgot the most important part about the jacuzzi, the water. So Cam went upstairs,
00:10:25grabbed a hose, and... Let's do this. Water's coming in in three, two, one!
00:10:31What are you doing? Stop, stop, turn off, turn off, turn off, turn off, Cam. What the, what are you doing?
00:10:35What? We're using the water for the jacuzzi, not a freaking water slide. Come on,
00:10:38this will be the world's first water slide in a secret room. No, we're putting the water where
00:10:42it's supposed to be, in the jacuzzi. And then came our biggest problem yet. Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben, Ben!
00:10:49I think the detective's here! What? Give me a hose! What the? Hurry! Okay, we gotta get rid of this,
00:10:54quick! Cam, hurry! Come down, come down, come down! Jump in, jump in, jump in!
00:11:00I saw a car pull up, I don't know who was inside of it. The detective and Derek are here now. As you
00:11:04guys know, earlier we set up a bunch of secret cameras. Time to see what Derek and the detective
00:11:08are up to. Wait, wait, is that, bro, is that freaking Hannah? You're yelling detective and it's literally
00:11:14just my girlfriend. Dude, I saw a car pull up, what do you want me to do? At least it's not the detective,
00:11:17but that does give me a little bit of an idea. What's your idea? Hannah's home,
00:11:21so how about we test the secretiveness of this secret room by asking her to try to find us. I
00:11:26texted her to come find us, and now we wait. She just got my text. The search begins. She's searching
00:11:32in the kitchen. We're not in the kitchen, not in the fridge. That'd be a good idea though. That would,
00:11:35but she checked the fridge. Yeah, not a good idea. She's checking every single cabinet. There's no way I could
00:11:39even fit in one of those cabinets. This is a pantry, not in the pantry, not in the cabinet. So far so good,
00:11:43she has not found us yet. She's going down the hallway. Perfect. Looking under the bed,
00:11:47looking everywhere. She's not gonna find us. Dude, this is so good. Oh, she's going upstairs.
