00:00There's not like an elaborate scheme that, you know, if we take the vice-captaincy off Olly Pope, it makes him easier to drop.

00:06It doesn't matter really if you're vice-captain or not, you know, like if we don't feel you're the right person,

00:11wherever you're batting, whether that's an opener, a number five, wherever, you know,

00:16we'll end up bringing in someone that we think can do the job better.

00:19So at the moment, Olly Pope's the man in possession.

00:22And, you know, there's a white ball series that Jacob Bethel's playing, things like that.

00:26I think he felt that that was coming.

00:29And vice-captaincy, you know, like it's not always the most important decision that you've got to make at times.

00:35We could have gone down the road of not having a vice-captain.

00:37But when Pope, he's done it, he's done it well.

00:39He's fitted into so many different roles that we've asked him to do over the last few years and done them all well.

00:45But Harry Brook's just, I think, the better leader.
