On 22 September, the Russian Ministry of Defence released a video showing the Northern Fleet’s nuclear-powered missile submarine cruiser Arkhanguelsk successfully launching an anti-ship cruise missile in the Barents Sea.

According to the official statement, the action took place as part of planned combat training activities. The P-800 Oniks missile was launched from a submerged position against a maritime target simulating an enemy vessel. The target, located approximately 200 kilometres away, was hit directly.
