A “SUPER MUM” has transformed her plain white Ford Mustang into a rolling celebration of the Hello Kitty brand for her daughters – and she did it almost entirely by herself. Takiyah Middleton, 41,  customized the 2006 convertible by adding Hello Kitty decals and pink interior decorations alongside eight speakers, seven TVs, and a full LED light setup. The Milwaukee-native now lives in Nashville and says she put all her efforts into her own quirky version of the iconic Ford for her two children. She told us: “I wanted to pull up at my daughters’ school and be like super mum , the cool mum so that’s what made me start building the car. 00:00Most time when people see me in this vehicle, they scream.

00:07Welcome to the Hello Kitty Mustangs.

00:18I've always had a passion for Mustangs.

00:20Not all cars, but Mustangs.

00:23Hey, I'm Kia, and I'm the owner of the Hello Kitty Mustangs.

00:30I decided to build this Hello Kitty Mustangs to be Supermom for my daughters.

00:36So when I drop them off at school, you know, it'll make them more popular.

00:42Everybody be like, ooh, that's Kia's mama.

00:45She's got a good car.

00:47Everybody, everybody just be talking about it every time I see them.

00:51I think it's like amazing, and they think she's rich.

01:00The top speed in my vehicle is 120.

01:03I've probably, with the 26-inch rims, hit maybe 85.

01:10I decided to go with Hello Kitty because I really thought the little character was cute.

01:16And she speaks from the heart.

01:18She doesn't have a mouth, and a lot of people don't really know that.

01:21You can see Righteous Kitty on there.

01:25I bedazzled my tags.

01:28I have heart exhaust on the back.

01:31I originally took the grill out and painted the grill.

01:36Bedazzled the tag, front tag, and painted the bottom grill myself.

01:41Trunk is also customized.

01:44There's actually not a base box in here.

01:47It's where my spare would go, and my amp is behind the hearts.

01:52I never got anyone to help me with my vehicle because I wanted it to be something that I created.

02:00Now I'll show you the inside.

02:03I bedazzled my doors, and I put a racing steering wheel.

02:10I have the puffy on here now, but I have a racing steering wheel that's pink on here.

02:17I wanted to do something a little different, so I put Righteous to represent my car club name.

02:24So I put Righteous right there with the heart that shows love.

02:28I have 22-inch TV on the dash.

02:33I just started a car club, and I want to serve a purpose with people in the city.

02:40I would get my guys, and we would go feed the homeless.

02:44We would clothe them.

02:45We would do blood drives to save lives.

02:47We would try to do positive things, and we still do that to this day.

02:51I'm super impressed, you know what I'm saying?

02:53Just how she was able to put everything together.

02:57She's truly the queen of the car club.

03:08I'm known for this vehicle.

03:10When I drive through downtown, people scream.

03:12They take pictures.

03:13They ask me multiple questions.

03:15They want to sit on the car.

03:17They want to rub the car.

03:19So it's really funny, and it's fun as well.

03:24I've gotten negative comments about this car before, but I get more positive than negative.

03:30So, it's okay.

03:31I mean, to see somebody riding around with a Hello Kitty tricked out Mustang, you know what I'm saying?

03:38It's by itself bold, but a Hello Kitty.

03:41That says a lot to me.

03:42That says I'm fierce.

03:44That says I'm bold.

03:46That says I'm here.

03:48You know?

03:49I love the Hello Kitty.

03:50You know what I mean?

03:51Like, it put a smile on my face.

03:52I've seen police officers pull her over just to take a picture.

03:55I love everything about the car.

03:56I have rim lights, and once I turn the rim lights on, it goes to the bottom of the vehicle.

04:02I go to multiple car shows a year.

04:05I usually win.

04:07I've been asked a lot would I customize another car, and I probably would.

04:15It took me eight years so far to customize this car, and I'm looking for probably about five more years until I'm complete.
