00:04because a mere week after Russia sent drones into Poland,
00:10three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets, with their transponders off,
00:16entered Estonian airspace without authorization and lingered for 12 minutes.
00:22On the same day, two Russian fighter jets violated the security zone
00:26over the Polish drilling platform in our economic zone in the Baltic Sea.
00:32If these were accidents, why not immediately acknowledge them and apologize?
00:39We have given Russia a pass in the past in such circumstances.
00:44But we have not heard any apologies, only lies.
00:50Together with the intensification of attacks on Ukraine,
00:53they seem to be an eloquent comment on, quote,
00:56moving from confrontation to dialogue, end quote,
01:01promised by Vladimir Putin in Alaska.
01:05These breaches of airspace are suspect
01:08because they are an escalation of hybrid war
01:12which Russia has waged against the West for years.
01:15Murders of politicians, journalists, human rights defenders and defectors,
01:20cyber attacks against hospitals and financial institutions,
01:24arsons, including in Poland, UK and Lithuania,
01:29postal packages containing incendiary devices all over Europe, including Germany,
01:34attacks on Ukrainian embassies,
01:37in addition to standard espionage and disinformation.
01:40Excellencies, this Council has a responsibility to send a clear message
01:46that such provocations will not be tolerated.
01:49It must stand in solidarity with Estonia, Romania, Poland and all nations
01:55whose sovereignty is threatened by systemic Russian aggression.
01:59To the representatives of Russia, I have this to say.
02:04We know you don't care for international law
02:07and you are incapable of living in peace with your neighbours.
02:12Your insane nationalism contains a lust for domination
02:16that will not cease until you realise that the age of empires is over
02:21and that your empire will not be rebuilt.
02:26Every drone strike by the heroes of the armed forces of Ukraine,
02:31may God bless them, brings this day closer.
02:36Your three-day special military operation
02:38can't even conquer Donbass for ten years now.
02:41But the potential for criminal, catastrophic Russian mistakes is still there.
02:50By ordering mobilisation in 1914,
02:54you precipitated the start of World War I,
02:57which bled Europe white and led to your Bolshevik revolution.

03:16We are peaceful democracies
03:18who have studiously avoided actively joining your attempt to reconquer Ukraine.
03:24But we will not be intimidated.
03:27I have only one request to the Russian government.
03:30If another missile or aircraft enters our space without permission,
03:36deliberately or by mistake,
03:38and gets shot down
03:40and the wreckage falls on NATO territory,
03:43please don't come here to whine about it.
