Nature can sometimes pull off some pretty neat tricks and in Germany’s southern state of Bavaria, a quarry lake has, with no human intervention, turned a beautiful deep purple, attracting visitors from all over the area, interested in the science and esthetic of the odd-looking phenomenon.
