Paralympic champion Cheah Liek Hou will now receive the full RM60,000 in incentives for his gold medal win in Paris after 99 Speedmart stepped in with a RM35,000 contribution, matching the amount given to powerlifter Bonnie Bunyau Gustin.

Silver medallists Abdul Latif Romly and Ziyad Zolkefli received RM15,000 each, while bronze medallist Eddy Bernard got RM7,000.

Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh thanked 99 Speedmart for topping up the incentives after the Paralympic Council of Malaysia fell short of its pledge.
