00:11Somerset Council has been working with North Somerset Council to secure funding for 10 schemes to improve the A38 between the Edithmead roundabout and the airport in a bid to cut congestion and improve journey times.
00:26North Somerset Council have indicated that the work could begin in June 2026, pending approval, with Somerset Council stating it is working to the same dates as its counterpart.
00:40Of the 10 schemes, 4 lie within Somerset Council's boundaries and 6 within the boundaries of North Somerset Council.
