00:00Today my job will be to rank the Mario Kart 64 tracks from worst to best.
00:08And yes, this is an extremely difficult job, since Mario Kart 64 is one of my favorite games and each and every track fascinates me.
00:20But if anyone has to sacrifice, it's me.
00:24That's why I'm Soda and this is my top 16 Mario Kart 64 tracks from best to worst.
00:30I'm sure number 1 will surprise you.
00:33But first, a little context.
00:38Mario Kart 64 was released in 1996 and was one of the first games I had the opportunity to play.
00:46And that's why I have so much affection for him.
00:49And besides being the first 3D Mario Kart we had.
00:52This game included 16 tracks that you won't let me lie, they are epic.
00:59And I don't think any of them are really bad.
01:03But as the title says, the time has come for the challenge.
01:08So let's get straight to the good stuff.
01:10At number 16 is Wario Stadium.
01:19And wait a minute before you start lighting the torches and go and flay me.
01:23Ah! It's a monster! Kill it!
01:26I think this track is really long, and the only good thing about it is that jump where you can use the specific item to launch your opponents from first place to last.
01:40Yes, I know it has one of the best shortcuts in the entire game, but that doesn't make it salvageable for me.
01:48Plus having Wario's face the whole race makes him a little weird.
01:51In 15th place is Luigi Raceway.
02:00The Green Mario track which does an excellent job as an introductory track to the game.
02:09Being an excellent tutorial to start playing and quite easy for beginners.
02:15I think the best part is when you go through the tunnel under that screen.
02:20And if it's in this position it's because it's quite calm and I think the ones that follow represent more of the chaotic component that Mario Kart has.
02:34In 14th place we have Mario Raceway.
02:37This track is very good.
02:40I think the gameplay is quite fun, with tight turns, the pipe driving part is spectacular, and its signature Super Mario elements make it unique.
02:54The only drawback I would point out is that it falls a bit short in terms of difficulty for the finale of the Copa Flor, since before passing through this track we had to face more complicated challenges.
03:09One of them being Todd's Turnpike, a track we'll talk about later.
03:22Speaking of chaotic components, we come to Mumu Farm.
03:27A very fun and charismatic track that represents a small ranch full of cows quite well.
03:34And although it seems very peaceful, at one point we encounter these moles who seem to come from hell and who will not rest until they blow us up.
03:52It's in this spot because you can get rid of the moles by moving a little bit away from the track, which makes the track go from being chaotic at some point to being somewhat calmer.
04:04At number 12 we have DK Jungle Parkway.
04:12A unique and very well done track without a doubt.
04:18With spectacular locations like the bridge, the jump on the ramp, the cave where we all cut through, it really is a very fun track.
04:29Ah, I told you that making this topi was going to be very complicated.
04:34I think it stays in this position because it has almost no representation of what Donkey Kong is.
04:40Yes, it's a very silly excuse, but what can we say?
04:44At least they should have given it a giant banana.
04:48But the track is really, really, really good.
04:52At number 11 we have Frappé Snowland.
04:58A very nice track, with spectacular music, incredible moments like the road in the middle of the snow, the part with the little figures, and it has a phenomenal shortcut.
05:14If it's in this position it's simply because there's another snow track in the game that I consider to be superior.
05:22Plus, the best of the best is coming from here.
05:26Tots Turnpike is a simply amazing race.
05:35I've always thought that being the first race of the Copa Flor makes this track quite unfair due to the difficulty curve.
05:44However, I have always enjoyed it and consider it to be quite good.
05:48The music, the road setting, the background, and yes, I know I'm someone who appreciates video game backgrounds.
05:56Oh, just look.
05:58I really like the water, I like this part here.
06:01You can see the details they put in here at least at this level.
06:05And although I hate this track too much in mirror mode, I think it's an excellent track full of freneticism, high difficulty and sometimes quite unfair or with very epic plays.
06:18Those who have been following the channel for a while will know that I don't like the colors on this track at all.
06:30I still think it's amazing.
06:32The thing about having to beat the DRE because otherwise he'll take you is fantastic.
06:39Plus it has a very good atmosphere accompanied by that wonderful music.
06:45The only thing I would say about this track is that it is quite quiet.
06:50If we take away the train issue, it really becomes very, very quiet.
06:59From the desert we went directly to the snow.
07:02Sherbetland is the second snow track in the game.
07:06And as I said before, I think it's a superior track to Frappé Snowland.
07:11Because the ice physics making you slip, the troll penguins, and the difficulty make this track incredible.
07:20What I like most is the detail of your kart covered in ice when you fall into the water.
07:25The truth is that I love Sherbetland.
07:27Chocomontain made it very high up the list because of nostalgia really.
07:37This track is amazing to me.
07:40I really like the frenetic nature of playing at 150.
07:43Besides the part where there is no railing and rocks fall, I consider it to be quite epic and very troll-like.
07:51I know many people don't like it, but the music is spectacular.
07:55And my God, who doesn't like chocolate?
07:57Chocomantain!
07:58Therefore, number 7 goes to Chocomontain.
08:06We enter the best slopes and Banshee Barwise welcomes us.
08:11Personally, I really like the scary atmosphere in a video game.
08:15And I think the track has a totally incredible setting.
08:19It can be one of the most complicated tracks, since in certain sections it has no railing.
08:24and it has physics that make your car slide.
08:28But the buses coming out in the middle of the road, the house of terror and the bats
08:34It just makes this track phenomenal and makes me really like it.
08:38Yes, it is very complicated, but incredible.
08:48The most memorable shortcut track in all of Mario Kart.
08:52Who hasn't tried to cut through that tunnel?
08:55Kupatrupa Beach is a work of art, the setting, the music.
09:02And yes, the closest I'll be to the beach this vacation.
09:05makes this track wonderful.
09:14If it is in this position it is because the tracks it follows are already really superior.
09:20I think Kupatrupa Beach has nothing to envy them,
09:24but it is already a higher level.
09:27The part I like most about this track is obviously going behind that rock.
09:31in the form of Koopa.
09:33Throughout this top I have talked about frenzy,
09:41of chaotic events in Mario Kart
09:42and all the madness that surrounds this game.
09:45And I think the best definition is on this track.
09:49Yoshi Valley is a circuit where you don't know where you are going,
09:53In addition to having several paths making it a small labyrinth,
09:58and even some roads are longer than others, making the race frantic.
10:03And here at least they put something that identifies Yoshi,
10:06not like others.
10:08Without a doubt, a track that reflects Mario Kart quite well.
10:17The reason I went into debt to buy the Nintendo Switch
10:21when the Mario Kart 8 remake came out.
10:24Just look at those graphs.
10:26Royal Raceway,
10:27What can I say that hasn't already been said about this track?
10:30Everything that their counterparts had good,
10:34Here they put it together and make it magnificent.
10:38Huge jumps down ramps,
10:40a spectacular setting,
10:41just look at it,
10:42That is, there is the Mario 64 pitch castle.
10:45Closed curves,
10:47This race is incredible.
10:50The truth is that this track has everything
10:52and that's what makes it wonderful.
10:55Bronze medal for Royal Raceway.
11:03Rainbow Road is a huge track,
11:06perhaps almost the same size as Wario Stadium,
11:10but with the difference of epicness.
11:13Rainbow Road closes beautifully
11:17the last cup of Mario Kart 64.
11:20And although it is not difficult,
11:23word that characterizes the entire Rainbow Road,
11:25It has that special touch that makes it unique.
11:29The music,
11:31the representation of all the characters in heaven,
11:35perhaps the wonderful shortcut it has,
11:37makes this whole track magical.
11:47Rainbow Road is perfect
11:49and I consider it to be iconic in the Mario Kart saga.
11:53A track that can only be overcome by...
12:02Bowser Castle.
12:04In a word, perfect.
12:08Not only music,
12:10the setting,
12:12but also its difficulty.
12:14That is, we are in the middle of a sea of lava.
12:17Tromas that will be blocking our way.
12:23And that bridge where we have all fallen thousands of times.
12:28This makes it a challenging track.
12:31and with a difficulty that perfectly represents
12:35the madness that is Mario Kart.
12:37Without a doubt,
12:38my favorite track
12:39and one of Bowser's best castles
12:41of the entire Mario Kart saga.
12:44Representing very well what Bowser as a villain is.
12:48Not forgetting that green throne
12:50who laughs in a mysterious way.
12:52First place for King Koopa's castle.
13:01Oh,
13:02I thought it would be impossible,
13:05but I managed to rank all the Mario Kart 64 tracks.
13:09I know you probably have a different opinion.
13:12and I would love to read it in the comments.
