00:04Yeah, I'm really excited. It was not expected.
00:10Yeah, I was really happy to see the votes coming up and to be acknowledged in this way is, yeah, really a great privilege.
00:19And yeah, it's a great effort. You missed last year having a baby.
00:22Yeah, you mustn't have expected it coming into the season that this is how it would end.
00:25Yeah, I thought I'd probably be aiming to come good at the end of the season.
00:30But I was very lucky that NADS backed me in and kept me on the court most of the year.
00:35So, yeah, I was able to probably put a consistent season together, which is required to win one of these.
00:43And yeah, I was really happy with what I could contribute to our team.
00:48And you've got a close relationship with Dot Jenkins. Pretty special to share that with her.
00:52Yes, I'm sad that Dot's not here today, but obviously I grew up with Dot as a fantastic mentor to me.
00:59And she first brought me to the Hamden League from Warnedoo-Mortlake and would drive me down the highway on a Thursday night to play at North Warrnambool.
01:08And it was a great coach to me in my juniors and I think potentially in my senior years as well.
