00:00So you wanna make $10,000 a month, but you don't know which route to take.
00:04Most people take the traditional route.
00:06They go to school, study hard for their exams, get good grades, go to university, and then get a nine-to-five job.
00:15Sorry to burst your bubble, but the average person makes $63,795 per year,
00:21according to the latest data from the Social Security Administration.
00:25That's $5,316 per month.
00:28So nowhere near your goal of $10,000 a month.
00:32Even worse, this data includes people who've been in the game for ages.
00:36So if you're just starting out in your 20s, you'll probably be making way less than 5K a month if you stick to this old-school path.
00:43But hey, let's say somehow you hit the jackpot and score a nine-to-five gig that pays you 10K a month.
00:49Maybe you become a hotshot doctor or lawyer.
00:52Sounds great, right?
00:53Well, not so fast.
00:55You'd still be trading away your time and freedom for that paycheck.
00:58This was the route that my parents expected me to follow.
01:01They believed it was the only way to a secure future.
01:05Maybe some of you are sitting there right now, feeling that same pressure, with your parents expecting the same of you.
01:11However, deep down, you feel like there must be a faster way you can make over 10K per month with more freedom.
01:17And that's exactly where the new route comes in.
01:21Don't worry. I know this sounds like it's leading up to some sort of sales pitch, but I'm not going to try and sell you anything.
01:27So feel free to relax.
01:29You can follow this route completely for free, and how you navigate it will depend on you.
01:34Many successful people like Stephen Bartlett, Joe Fazer, and Ali Abdel are taking this route already, but they aren't really talking about it.
01:42It also doesn't matter how old you are, as you can switch to this new route, no matter what stage of the traditional route you're currently on.
01:48However, the longer you wait, the tougher it gets to make that big jump.
01:53Why?
01:53Well, as you keep going down this usual path, life starts piling on more stuff.
01:58You know, like a mortgage, a partner, kids, the whole shebang.
02:02Don't get me wrong, you can still switch gears at any stage, but trust me, it's way easier if you do it sooner rather than later.
02:09I left school with no money or qualifications, so I was forced down this route early on, and I believe that's one of the key reasons I became a millionaire in my 20s and have been able to compound that wealth ever since.
02:22Hopefully, you're convinced that this new route to making over $10,000 per month is at least worth learning about, so let me break down the three steps involved.
02:31Step one is consume.
02:33Believe it or not, you don't know everything.
02:36If you think you do, then you're delusional and arrogant.
02:39So, what's the solution to this?
02:41It's simple, consuming knowledge.
02:43Think of it this way, it's like gathering resources in Minecraft.
02:47You need the right materials to build, survive, and ultimately conquer.
02:52However, the education system never really teaches you how to find information worth consuming.
02:57It's not as simple as reading a boring textbook or a quick Google search, so here's some advice.
03:03Before you even reach for your laptop, you need to identify what you want to learn.
03:08This needs to be some kind of high-income skill.
03:11Some examples that come to mind are video editing, high-ticket sales, web design, coding, graphic design, and copywriting.
03:18Honestly, there are so many out there.
03:21Just pick one that you feel you'd already have a little bit of a natural gift for.
03:24It's always easier to sharpen a strength than develop a weakness.
03:28Once you've narrowed it down, this area will become your focus.
03:32Now you'll need time to seek out credible sources.
03:35I know I'm biased, but I think the best place to do this is on YouTube.
03:39Find some trustworthy experts with large audiences.
03:43Watch their videos and note down their key points.
03:46You need to extract the key information, not copy down their life story.
03:50Ask yourself, what point is that person actually making?
03:54And what lesson is behind their story or experience?
03:57Once you've done that and your notes are looking solid, I'd start to look at the types of people
04:01that are watching and engaging with that content.
04:04If you notice they have a strong community, then get stuck in.
04:08I'd even go the extra mile and head over to Reddit and Discord.
04:11This way, you'll be able to connect with people that are passionate about the same niche as you.
04:16Engage with them, ask questions, and learn from their experiences.
04:19I guarantee you, joining these types of groups will give you a proper insight into the real struggles
04:24that people are facing, which is far more valuable than watching only the creator's videos.
04:30It's one thing to learn from top creators online, but when you dive into these communities,
04:34you get a front row seat to see what's really going on, giving you access to priceless knowledge.
04:40Trust me, this will come in very handy later on.
04:43A word of warning, though, it can be very easy to fall into the trap of only watching one person
04:48or even just watching YouTube videos.
04:51If you want to get the most from this, then you need to be consuming from a variety of different people and mediums.
04:57In other words, you really shouldn't be shying away from books.
05:00I'm a huge fan of books.
05:02They're like a shortcut to someone's entire life experience, but I'm dyslexic,
05:07so plowing through a whole book can be a real pain sometimes.
05:10That's why I'm all about these short-form guides.
05:12For me, short-form is the go-to for diving deep into books like The Intelligent Investor
05:18and gaining in-depth insights.
05:20They're the best summary service out there, and let me learn from five books and the time it takes to read one.
05:25I'll drop a link in the description that you can use to try it for free and get 20% off.
05:30Step two is apply.
05:31If you want to get rich, then you have to apply the things you consume.
05:35This is super important, as you need to get out there in the real world and test what you've learned.
05:39The best way to do this is to consume, then apply.
05:43Consume some more, and then apply again.
05:45It's a cycle that only stops when you want to stop progressing.
05:49Let's say you've decided to consume content on coding.
05:52Now is the time to make your first simple app.
05:55It sounds daunting, and at first, you're probably going to suck.
05:58But that's okay, you've got to give yourself permission to fail.
06:02Mark Zuckerberg didn't create Facebook for his first project.
06:05JK Rowling got rejected 12 times before she published Harry Potter, and Beyonce made hundreds of songs before her first smash hit.
06:14In the words of Mark Zuckerberg himself,
06:15The greatest successes come from having the freedom to fail.
06:19As soon as you feel confident enough, start charging for your skills.
06:24If you edit videos, then take on a few lower-paying clients at first and work your way up.
06:29Just think, all you need to do is get five clients paying $2,000 a month,
06:34or 10 clients paying $1,000 a month for your video editing services,
06:38and you've already hit the 10K per month target.
06:41The better you get, the more you'll be able to charge,
06:44and the easier it will be to make more and more money.
06:47However, this is a game of diminishing returns,
06:50meaning the hours you put in learning the skill at the start
06:53will have more impact on your income than the hours later down the line.
06:56It's like when you first start to work out at the gym.
06:59You get newbie gains.
07:01It's best to consume and apply until you get to the point
07:04where you aren't noticing an increase in the amount you're able to charge for your services.
07:08This is how you know you've reached pretty much expert status.
07:12During this time, make sure to keep note of all the challenges you face
07:16and problems you overcome.
07:18These will become stories you can draw on heavily in the future.
07:21Believe it or not, during the apply stage,
07:24the most important thing you're gaining isn't the money,
07:27but instead the experiences themselves.
07:29Once you're an expert in a specific high-income skill,
07:32it can be very easy to get stuck here trading every hour you have to earn 10K per month.
07:38But remember, the goal isn't to reach 10K and lose all your freedom.
07:42So instead, I recommend doing these two things.
07:45Firstly, start to scale your high-income skill into a real business.
07:49I know you might be thinking, it's already a business,
07:52but if you have to be working to generate income,
07:54then the truth is you just have a high-paying job.
07:57So how can you scale a high-income skill into a proper business?
08:01Well, I know a guy that started editing shorts for YouTubers.
08:05He was working every hour under the sun.
08:08However, one day, he just got fed up with working all the time
08:11and not having the freedom to take vacations.
08:14So he started to note down all the steps he would take to make the shorts,
08:18from the way he selected the clips, to the font he used,
08:21and the time of day he posted to social media.
08:24He didn't know it at the time, but he was creating a system.
08:27He realized that he wasn't going to be able to find someone
08:30to do all the tasks like him.
08:32However, he could split the tasks into separate jobs,
08:35such as timestamper, text editor, and poster.
08:39This way, he could find far less skilled people
08:41to fill in the roles for him,
08:43so he could focus on the quality control
08:45and take on more clients.
08:47You can do this with any high-income skill.
08:49The system will also become super useful
08:52for the next thing I highly recommend doing,
08:54teaching others your high-income skill.
08:57That brings me on to step three, educate.
08:59Most of the young millionaires
09:01that have gained success recently
09:02have made their fortunes teaching others.
09:05I'm talking Iman Gadzi, Ali Abdo, Graham Stephan,
09:08the list goes on.
09:09The education industry is booming,
09:12and I believe everyone making decent money
09:14from some kind of high-income skill
09:16should also have an education business.
09:18I mean, just imagine you created a course
09:21that you sold for $100.
09:23All you'd have to do is sell that course 100 times in a month,
09:26and you'd hit that 10K per month.
09:28The great thing is you only have to make it once,
09:30and then you can sell it again and again,
09:32getting your freedom and time back.
09:34Education products don't just have to be online courses.
09:38You could also start exclusive membership sites,
09:41subscription podcasts, communities,
09:43personalized coaching, and more.
09:45These types of businesses are extremely cost-effective
09:48to set up and run.
09:49They also have the upside of being extremely scalable
09:52as they generate predictable reoccurring revenue.
09:55Now, reoccurring revenue is the holy grail
09:58in the business world.
09:59I mean, there's a reason why everything is turning
10:01into a subscription nowadays.
10:03If you know how much money is coming in every month,
10:06then it gives you the confidence you need
10:08to expand your business,
10:10and eventually hire people
10:11without worrying too much about your cashflow.
10:14I know multiple people making millions
10:16using this business model, all from their laptop.
10:19Look, I know it might sound super complicated,
10:21but all you have to do is sign up
10:23to an all-in-one platform like Kajabi
10:25and they'll handle all the business stuff for you
10:28so you can focus on creating your education products.
10:31Just make sure the platform you choose
10:33to host your course or community
10:34doesn't take a cut from your revenue
10:36and that everything remains controlled and owned by you.
10:39That's why I like Kajabi
10:40as you keep 100% of what you earn.
10:43They also give you lots of analytic tools,
10:46easy payment options, email marketing tools,
10:48and customizable website templates all built in.
10:51To build a successful business on Kajabi,
10:54all you need is 10,000 loyal fans buying a $100 product
10:58and you've got a million dollar education business.
11:01I'll talk about how you can build an audience
11:03like this in a second.
11:05I reached out to Kajabi to see if they'd be interested
11:07in sponsoring this portion of the video.
11:10They agreed and are offering a free 30-day trial
11:13to start your business if you go to kajabi.com slash mark.
11:17So feel free to head over there and sign up.
11:20Once you're ready to host your education product
11:22and make some predictable reoccurring revenue,
11:25you might be thinking that giving away your secrets
11:27will impact your earnings.
11:29However, honestly,
11:30only a very small percentage of people actually take action.
11:33That's what separates us from most people.
11:36And honestly, if you don't teach others,
11:38then someone else will.
11:40But why would someone listen to you
11:42and not someone older and more experienced?
11:45Relatability.
11:46It's as simple as that.
11:48You've recently been in their shoes
11:50and can relate to how they're feeling
11:51much better than an old professor
11:53that's teaching from textbooks.
11:55That's part of the reason my channel
11:57has been so successful.
11:58I've been there and done it.
12:00I know what it's like starting with no money
12:02or qualifications, and I put in the hard work.
12:05That's why you can't just skip to this step
12:07before actually applying what you consume online.
12:10There are too many parrots out there.
12:12Your real stories and experiences
12:14will make you stand out.
12:15But what if I get lots of hate?
12:18Look, what's scarier to you?
12:20Looking back 10 years from now,
12:22seeing your life exactly as it is,
12:24the same job, same income, same routine,
12:27or facing a few harsh comments online.
12:30To build any kind of audience online,
12:32you're gonna have to deal with a small group of people
12:34who don't like you.
12:35But that's how you know you're doing it right.
12:38The worst thing to be is vanilla.
12:40So how can you actually build an audience
12:42and educate people through your experiences?
12:45Most people will tell you to start with your story.
12:48But the issue with this is that
12:49no one actually knows who you are yet.
12:51You don't have that social presence online
12:54to make people care.
12:55Sure, sometimes out of the blue,
12:58these videos can hit an algorithm,
12:59but these people never build a lasting following.
13:02I would personally start with posting content
13:04that directly speaks to your audience and their needs.
13:08You could do a combination of videos,
13:10blog posts, or tweets.
13:12You need to talk about a shared problem
13:14and teach people how to fix that problem
13:17through actionable advice.
13:19Really think back to when you started
13:20and all the problems you were facing.
13:22This is your superpowers.
13:23You can really tap into their thoughts.
13:26When people scroll through social media,
13:27the posts that make them stop
13:29are often the posts that make them feel something.
13:32Posts that hit that emotional trigger.
13:34So hit them hard in your first line.
13:37Make them stop and think,
13:38wow, this is just how I feel.
13:41One of the best tips is to use something I created
13:43called the impact principle.
13:45I is for inspire.
13:47You want your audience to feel motivated by your story,
13:50showing them that change is possible.
13:52M is for message.
13:54You should always try to have a clear and concise message
13:57that's not only easy to understand,
13:59but easy to remember.
14:01Every time they think of that message,
14:02they'll think of you and your content.
14:05P is for practical.
14:07You should always be providing actionable steps
14:09that they can take immediately
14:11to improve their situation.
14:13Forget all that mindset stuff.
14:14That's not helping anyone.
14:16A is for authentic.
14:17You should always be yourself
14:18and speak about your own experiences
14:20from the apply stage
14:22to really resonate with your audience.
14:24C is for connection.
14:26You need to build a really strong connection
14:28with your audience
14:29by addressing their needs and concerns.
14:32So reply to comments
14:33and within C is another C really, conversation.
14:37You need to be creating a conversation
14:39to help build a strong,
14:41ha ha, you guessed it, community.
14:43All the Cs, there's so many.
14:45Lastly, we have T, which is for timing.
14:48I know what you're thinking,
14:49finding the best time to post using stats.
14:52No, that's not what I'm about to say.
14:55For timings,
14:55it's more about releasing your content
14:58at the right time
14:59to maximize its relevance and impact.
15:01So jump on trends and follow the news
15:03so you stay relevant.
15:05It's all about catching and riding the waves
15:07which will shed light on your other content.
15:10If you aren't comfortable
15:11sitting down in front of a camera and talking,
15:13that isn't the only strategy that works.
15:16Look at people like Stephen Bartlett.
15:18He failed at vlogging for many years
15:20and then he started his podcast,
15:22Diary of a CEO.
15:24He now gets the experts on
15:25and draws out their insights for his audience.
15:28There is no right way to go about it.
15:30It's just trial and error
15:32until you find what works for you.
15:34So don't be afraid to try a few different approaches.
15:37So are you gonna keep going down the traditional route
15:40or are you gonna hop on to the new route
15:42and start making over 10K a month?
15:44I'll leave that down to you.
15:46If you wanna know the seven things to avoid
15:48if you wanna get rich,
15:50then I'll leave that video right up there.
15:51But don't click on it just yet.
15:53Make sure to subscribe
15:54if you wanna grow your wealth, okay?
15:56I'll see you over there.
