Authors of The Resistance is amplifying the call for justice for Amanda “Manda” Laswell, a Native woman and beloved community member who has been missing since July 23, 2025, in Olympia, Washington. Her silence is not normal. Her absence is a rupture in the care owed to those living at the margins, especially Indigenous women, whose disappearances are too often ignored, delayed, or dismissed. Amanda’s case must not be another statistic in the epidemic of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW).

This is not just a missing person case; it is a reflection of systemic neglect toward Native lives and those intentionally unseen. We demand truth, urgency, and protection for Amanda and every soul endangered by indifference. Her life matters. Her story will not be erased.
