00:00Solpe. Solpeche. Solpeche. Solpeche. Solpeche. Solpeche. Solpeche. Solpeche. Solpeche.
00:17待ってís.
00:18Alright, weíre out here with a message to Bob Iger, is that right?
00:23'? So weíre going to say BRING JIMMY BACK.
00:25BRING JIMMY BACK. string Jimmy back.
00:29Bring Jimmy back!
00:48You can waste a lot of time talking about the hypocrisy of MAGA,
00:52but you can't be a hypocrite if you don't have any values.
00:54They have one value, it's power.
00:57They have power, they're exercising it through the FCC,
01:00they're exercising it through impoundments,
01:02they're exercising it through the Supreme Court.
01:04Whatever they can, they're exercising power.
01:07And the same way that the Writers Guild and SAG and IATSE
01:10and all of us stood together and won a strike before,
01:12we can only win this the same way.
01:14Power.
01:16Brendan Carr said that the reason this is happening
01:19is because so many people were calling the affiliates saying,
01:22I'm disgusted, I hate this, how can this be on TV?
01:26He's lying.
01:46I'm here today because I'm outraged by the Trump administration's attempt to clamp down on free speech.
01:51The right to criticize people, the right to criticize the President of the United States
01:56is guaranteed by the Constitution.
01:59This country is all about it.
02:00It's one of the fundamental rights that guarantees our freedom.
02:04And the Trump administration is trying to shut that down.
02:07And that's outrageous and we have to fight back.
02:21Absolutely holds power accountable.
02:25It makes people, comedy makes people think.
02:28It is as Brad Hoylman said earlier when Mel Brooks said,
02:33you can stand on a soapbox and argue points with a tyrant.
02:38It's not going to do anything.
02:39But if you make people laugh,
02:41and you laugh at the absurdity and the absolute outrageousness of things,
02:46that makes people think.
02:58It's important for us to stand up together and to fight against censorship.
03:03The First Amendment says that the government does not have the right
03:07to come in and tell me what I can and cannot write and perform and so on.
03:13And this is the government putting its thumb on the scale.
03:17It's a reflection of where we are as a society.
03:29And if we can't make satire of daily events,
03:35if we can't have a moment to process, then we're lost.
03:47Thank you.
