00:45Back in India, a formal FIR has been launched at the Murakau police station in ASME, against
00:49event organizer Shamkanu Mahanta on 19 September.
00:52The complaint filed by Advocate Ratul Bora accuses him of negligence, alleging that mismanagement
00:57and decisions linked to the Northeast India festival contributed to the untimely demise
01:01of the ASME singer.
01:03In response, the festival organizers issued a statement claiming that Zubin had gone on
01:07a private yacht ride with members of the local ASME community without their knowledge.
01:11They added that the organizing team was engaged in official meetings when they received the
01:14news of the accident.
01:16The organizers confirmed his death and announced immediate cancellation of the festival.
01:20Meanwhile, unverified reports suggest Zubin may have suffered a heart attack while
01:24swimming, though official confirmation is still awaited.
01:27His mortal remains are currently in Singapore for post-mortem and will be flown back to ASME
01:31for final rituals.
