Deadly floods have crashed through Unity, South Sudan, destroying homes, farmland and livestock. In the wake of the disaster, residents are doing what they can to rebuild.

00:00Here in South Sudan, deadly floods have submerged homes and health authorities.
00:07It's the result of heavy rainfall, which has also killed livestock and destroyed farmland and pastures.
00:15Humanitarians and officials are doing all they can to help those affected.
00:21The surge of rain has also contaminated water sources.
00:37Those affected hope they will be able to rebuild their lives once it's subsisted.
00:44We hope that once the water is pumped out, we'll be able to access pasture for our cattle, rebuild our homes, cultivate the land and reduce our dependence on food being brought from far away.
01:02The International Organization for Migration is boltering dykes to shield communities living in the area.
01:09The region has already been struck by floods and some 220,000 people have been affected.
