00:00I'll say that it's in my mom's backyard so we I think we both knew we wanted to

00:07do a little backyard wedding something intimate I think when you're when you

00:12have like you know the luxury of getting married in your like 20s or something

00:17like that earlier you like sort of romanticize this like huge thing now

00:21that we're both a little bit older it's like we don't need any of that stuff so

00:25we're just gonna do a small wedding around the holidays in my mom's

00:29backyard and almost every single one of our friends said they had wished they

00:33had just eloped like at the end of the day is as much fun as the wedding was they

00:36all wish they just everyone says that and yeah so what I took more from that was

00:39just like they wanted it to just be casual and easy and be more about the

00:42couple and so being at her mom's house which to me is like her favorite place

00:46on earth to me it's my little sanctuary when I get away from Wisconsin in the

00:49middle of winter it just made sense there's been a lot of reflection time

00:53during this vacation so the very first time I ever met Hannah was a very

00:58memorable experience in itself but Hannah's very like well put together

01:02she's very beautiful she's very well dressed she's very well spoken and so

01:05our first date was like wow this woman is way out of my league and all sudden

01:09we're sitting there drinking coffee by the the Riverside in New York and this

01:13pigeon comes flying down past Hannah's head and she made a sound that I had

01:19never heard I don't think in my life in fear or whatever it was of this pigeon and

01:25in that moment I was like oh my god there's something more to this woman

01:28than just the the beautiful facade even though like she's just continue to be

01:32beautiful and amazing in every way it's like she's also just down and like to

01:35earth and a great person to be around and so I knew in that moment like oh I

01:39could definitely get to know this girl and really really like her yeah so it's

01:44day one truly like day one I knew she was special yeah he like deleted the apps

01:48after we met all of that the next day I would say it took me a little bit but

01:52the thing that stood out for me with him but really was the follow-through

01:56after the date I am afraid of birds by the way that's what that pigeon the story

02:01was there's so many pigeons in New York City like you have to be aware but

02:04anyways yeah I know his follow-through like there was there were a few times

02:09where he was like yeah I'm gonna come back to New York to take you out and he

02:12actually I was like whoa this guy is actually gonna do it I mean so many

02:16people talk about it and they don't do it so that stood out to me and just you

02:21know we talked every day after we met it was like non-stop I always say I met him

02:25one day and then we never stopped getting coffee like it was I just felt like we

02:28were always doing that but I will always remember the moment I told my mom about

02:33him because I she was in Europe when I met him so I wasn't able to chat with her

02:38and my mom's like my best friend so the minute I like got together with her and I

02:42could talk to her I was like you know she's telling me about her Europe trip and I

02:45was like okay mom I love you but like shut up I have to tell you about this guy

02:48that I met I just remember because it was I was like so excited I was bursting

02:54and I've never been that way about a guy like I've never really wanted to talk

02:57about someone so um I could say that I definitely knew he was special like

03:02before then but that was my memorable moment 10 out of 10 honestly I mean

03:08there's so many options of things you can do the couples massage we have an

03:13appointment tomorrow so we'll tell you about that although we did meet some

03:16friends here and they told us that that was the best thing that they've done so

03:20that's definitely recommended they have a ton of excursions and things you can do

03:23if you want to get away but just even staying here has been plentiful I mean

03:27there's a couple different pools to choose from there's activities going on

03:30every night and good mix of things too so like if someone wants more music and

03:35energy there's a pool area for that if you want more relaxation and calm

03:39there's the beach with low to no music for that there's different restaurants

03:44different vibes so you can do more of like a sit-down classy dinner with

03:47reservation only or we just walked into a jerk shack got some food and walked away

03:51with it so there's a good mix of everything for everybody and then

03:55kayaking paddleboarding snorkeling all that fun stuff too so you can get your fix in

03:59there
