00:46the pole man lose his place in the run into the first corner that was a perfect start for Nico
00:51Rosberg the two salvers absolutely side by side here Kamiliko Bayashi and Sergio Perez each of them
00:56fighting for position here and I think Perez has got past Kabayashi yes he has meanwhile
01:01Mark Webber also not away well he's got past Alonso past him but he's got back past Alonso
01:06dives down the inside of the Ferrari Alonso charging he has to make the most of this first lap
01:12Rosberg leads Schumacher second Button third Raikkonen fourth Hamilton fifth Perez to sixth place he has
01:18come up really really well as Perez from eighth place as well well the end of the second sector we've
01:24got Sebastian Vettel has not only had a terrible qualifying he's now had a terrible start he's down
01:30in 15th place Rosberg leads from Schumacher they have a gap of just about 1.3 seconds
01:36over Button in third followed by Raikkonen and Hamilton further down the order there's a move
01:40from Pastor Maldonado doesn't quite come off though Maldonado trying to get past Sebastian Vettel
01:45in the dirty air of the car in front means that you lose downforce your car slides more over the
01:50track surface and crucially takes away tire wear
01:53I'm nowhere on the straights I'm nowhere on the straights I cannot get past on the straights
01:58to all and we've got the L attire so really a lap 11 well that is actually what we expected
02:06anywhere around 10 to 15 and of course it was a battle of the pit crews and in this case Lotus

02:13no and Hamilton just getting out in front of Kimi Raikkonen so that's a place gained by McLaren
02:19you know they they changed their rear jacks and look at this they've come right out with Webber
02:23have they uh yeah battling away with Mark Webber so Kimi Raikkonen might have lost that place to
02:28Mark Webber as well because Webber's got himself in between those two cars and a fraction of a second
02:33lost in the pits and suddenly Kimi has effectively lost two places but he's going to come straight back
02:38look at Mark Webber that's a tricky place to try and overtake they almost touch they virtually do
02:43he gets squeezed out and Webber gets the place that was great stuff
02:46Webber locking up a little bit with the rear jack last time out in Malaysia McLaren lost quite a lot
02:50of time on pit stops for both Lewis and Jensen and it's uh meant a redesign of the jack they use
02:56to lift the car for those tire changes well no and uh Rosberg pushing on as he approaches his first
03:03stop but uh oh and Schumacher has pulled off now what is that is that it must be a problem
03:08for Michael Schumacher for the second time this year it was a gearbox problem in Australia that
03:12took him out of the race something has gone wrong once again for Michael Schumacher it is not going
03:18to be his day of days he's not going to take his 90 second victory well that's worth Michael I think
03:24uh I'm pretty sure he mentioned he had an issue with his wheel and I definitely saw one of the pit
03:28crew slapping the ground trying to watch out for any wobbly wheels uh let's keep an eye on the left
03:34hand side and pit crew there oh the hand comes up yeah he never got the gun on the nut yeah he did
03:40he never got to do it up at all and they've got to do it clearly and maintain that line as they go
03:46into the braking zone and then we've got the pass being played out there and then retaken again that's
03:52the replay of that particular event and now here comes Button he's got the DRS activated he's side
03:57by side with Sergio Perez again another straight forward pass button on Vettel just to interrupt
04:04you there David so he's got that move made and cleanly done maybe a little bit demonstration there
04:10of the uh straight line speed even with DRS he had that move made quite early in Alonso on Massa here we
04:14go no chance for Massa anyway really with the DRS in operation and Alonso goes past his teammate
04:21that's right and they're battling at the top of the points as he locks up again and oh how does he
04:27make the corner I don't understand how you can be that locked up and still make the apex oh look at
04:32this and is he going to pit this lap let's see if he goes straight on in fact he does indeed you put
04:36to bed as Weber gets very wide on the exit of turn 13 and well that'll be one for the FIA to look at
04:42that kerb after the race gonna be a chase and he's on the harder compound tire it's a slow stop a problem
04:48with the left rear it's a slow stop for Jenson Button he's still there now he gets to move
04:53Hamilton and Alonso are fighting but Button had a dreadful dreadful stop and now as he finally gets
04:59going again you should see him emerge from the left hand side and look at all the places he's lost
05:05now this is Hamilton's move a little bit earlier on past Amaldonado that was for ninth position and
05:13fourth as uh there's a move from Hamilton getting past Senna so that brings Hamilton now up into
05:18seventh position so he's flying here at the moment meanwhile Alonso trying to get past past Amaldonado
05:24trying to go around the outside of him and the Ferrari has to back off he's on the marbles and he runs
05:28wide there's what happens when you get out onto the dusty part of the track now does he lose the place
05:32to the Sauber he does indeed Grosjean's not giving that place up he's not but that's the same place
05:36Alonso ran wide but does he no he'll go wide exactly the same a carbon copy of what Alonso did
05:41yeah yeah look Maldonado is gonna have a little look at the inside of Grosjean they hit each other
05:46in Australia they touch here again they touch twice and Maldonado trying to go all the way around
05:51the outside of Romain Grosjean again this is aggressive stuff and this time Grosjean fends him
05:56off great racing but he's damaged his end plate his pair is in the Sauber he's gonna get one if not
06:02both of them down into the hairpin on the inside no he can't Maldonado closes the door but he's got
06:07past Grosjean but Grosjean will try and get back on the exit these guys racing in GP2 in recent years
06:14it looks like they're racing it again so Hamilton oh and there's a battle there as Hamilton tries to
06:19get past Webber but not really on just yet he's not gonna find a way there surely yes indeed he's
06:24slipped up the inside and he'll he's done it but now Webber's holding the inside sorry Ben he's
06:28it's good stuff though isn't it absolutely brilliant and now Webber just fends him off
06:33and Hamilton couldn't quite make the move we'll look out for him into turn six so we know that's
06:37been a popular place as we see Vettel going on the outside of Raikkonen trying to do the cutback
06:42he'll use curves as he comes off turn six and will he do what Alonso failed to do which is get
06:48around the outside and get back on the racing line he does and Raikkonen goes away that allows
06:53button through he fights the second Hamilton down the inside of Raikkonen and he's gonna make the
06:57move stick surely yes Hamilton claims the place and Raikkonen could drop back very quickly now
07:03because Webber also gets a run on him goes around the outside and Raikkonen's tires have as they say
07:10fallen off the cliff yeah yeah how to lose several places and again another place lost is Senegal's up
07:16the inside and what will Grosjean do his teammate he's up the inside he's done it he's done it as
07:21well yeah he's got past and past to Maldonado so in one lap look how many places Kimi Raikkonen has
07:26lost they was trying to position it down the inside and look at the debris between off the uh the
07:31racing line the dust and debris being thrown up as we've got the two saubers going wheel to wheel
07:35that allows Raikkonen to get back up the inside Kobayashi getting the place from his teammate
07:40then look at all that clear space behind them who would have thought we'd have the Mercedes with
07:46a 25 second lead over the Red Bull of Vettel as we get to the end of their life it might become
07:52more and more difficult and Jenson's going for it he's down the inside it's there but Jenson Button
07:57takes second place but can he hold on to it I think he can yes Jenson Button is into second place
08:02Hamilton uh right on Vettel's tail now how are those tires holding up for Sebastian Vettel
08:08here's an interesting little match isn't it between the two young stars of Formula One and Hamilton
08:14goes to the inside as he tries to take the place and he's done it he's into third position Sebastian
08:19Vettel cannot respond to that Weber trying to get in on it too or can he Vettel now trying to come
08:25back on the outside but surely can't do anything into the final left-hander here and for the second

08:41hairpin Vettel defends surely got over now he's got the inside line Weber's done it he's got past his
08:47teammate Weber has got into fourth place he could be on for a hat trick of fourth places this year

09:00he looks to come into the last few corners Nico Rosberg his father of course Keke Rosberg world's
09:08champion back in 1982 he took his first win at the Swiss Grand Prix at Dijon in 1982 but this time
