Saturn will appear at its brightest when it reaches opposition on the night of Sept. 21. The planet is famous for its dazzling ring system and is the second largest planet in our solar system.

00:00On the night of Sunday, September 21st, catch the gas giant Saturn rise high in
00:10the sky. Saturn will reach opposition on this night, making it the best time of
00:15the year to observe the planet at its brightest. You don't need a telescope to
00:20view the gas giant, but it most certainly helps. Saturn is the second largest
00:24planet in our solar system, famous for its majestic ring system. With a
00:28telescope, you'll be able to observe Saturn's impressive rings and even its
00:32largest moon, Titan. If you miss opposition, no worries. Saturn will
00:37continue to shine throughout the rest of September. If you plan on stargazing at
