00:28years productivity in the industry has tripled yet it still trails the asia pacific average presenting

00:35both a challenge and an opportunity as of january 1st 2022 the length of public highways in uzbekistan

00:44was more than 42 000 kilometers including about 4 000 kilometers of highways of international

00:51importance the railway network spans over 7 000 kilometers and handled more than 51 million

00:59tons of cargo in just the first half of 2025. the world bank forecast is that by 2030 uzbekistan's

01:08transit capacity will grow almost four and half times and investments in the transport sector will

01:14reach about 54 billion euros the country is working to become a regional transport and logistics hub

01:21improving mobility efficiency and access for millions of people and businesses across central asia

01:28and beyond here's more with the population of nearly 40 million and not direct access to the sea uzbekistan
