Ironman Wales returns to Tenby and surrounding areas across Pembrokeshire this Sunday and there will be full and partial road closures around the south of the County.
On Sunday, September 21, thousands of athletes will descend on Tenby and Pembrokeshire to compete in the triathlon, with the event starting as always from the iconic North Beach with a two-loop 2.4-mile (3.8 km) swim course setting off at 7.25am.
This will be followed by a two-loop 112-mile (180.2 km) bike course taking athletes through the scenic countryside of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park past the numerous castles and landmarks; before the four-loop 26.2-mile (42.2 km) marathon course, ends at the Esplanade, with the finishing line overlooking South Beach.
