00:00Well, hi, I'm Bay Logan. I know a lot of really highly trained martial arts champions who can't really move as well as Ara can. So full credit to him. And it really is, you know, where there's a will, there's a way.
00:14But you have to admire somebody who is not content to just repeat exactly what's been done before, much as Hollywood did this last summer. I mean, he's actually coming in and trying to do something different and innovative.
00:26Again, you know, extraordinary. His physical dexterity. That guy really took a whack in the mouth. And, you know, there's stuff that you can fake and there's stuff you can't.
00:35And if you've been in the business a while, as I have, then you look at the action sequences and, you know, you can tell when it hits a hit.
00:43Again, you know, Ara really pulling off some incredible movements. I mean, there's a lot of guys sitting around wishing they were movie stars.
00:50And this guy, he's living the dream and he's made it happen. And, you know, that's really something you have to admire.
00:56This is another remarkable sequence. Again, he's not using any crash pads, no wires. I don't even think he uses the kind of padding, you know, the kind of the body armor or under the clothing padding that proper Hollywood and even now Hong Kong stuntmen use when they do rolls.
01:15I feel that he kind of just does it himself. And I think there's not a single shot in all of these films when it's not him doing his own thing.
01:26Extraordinary physical gifts of Ara. And obviously he's derivative to an extent of Jackie Chan.
01:32But I think there's a huge gap between seeing someone like Jackie, who's from the Chinese opera, and somebody with all those physical attributes, and someone like Ara.
01:42And one thing about Ara is you know for an absolute fact he does all his own stunts and there's no special effects.
01:48So really it's what you see is what you get.
01:51That's an extraordinary move there, going through the car windows the way he does.
01:55But this stuff is really, these are difficult maneuvers to pull off.
02:00I mean, no pads, nothing. It's just Ara looking for more abuse.
02:05Ara really puts people to shame.
02:07Because if you look at the equivalent martial arts fights in some really major American movies, they're not anywhere near as inventive or even as well shot.
02:18And is there anything Ara didn't do on this film?
