02:42Katie, this team, we saw last season how much fight there is in this team and how much
02:47belief there is as well.
02:49I think belief was something you all talked about a lot.
02:51How much of those learnings, I guess, from last season are you going to bring into this

02:56I feel like each and every one of us all has the heart and all has a lot of fight for
03:05our country.
03:06And I think that just comes naturally, too, as I think we showed it at the start of the
03:10year, Sonne making her debut, which was pretty incredible.

03:46How do you approach a tournament like this?
03:48Are you looking sort of solely at your next opponent or are you taking a longer term view
03:53of the path that you might take from then on?
03:55Look, I think right now, yeah, it focuses purely on tomorrow's match against Japan.
04:02But our ambition has been no secret for all of us sitting here.
04:05The entire team is to win this competition.
04:08And, you know, we're going to throw everything we've got at it.
04:11We've come close in the last few years.
04:14And I think, if anything, that's spurred us on and motivated us to do even better in this competition
04:22because it is something that's important to all of us here.
04:24And, you know, we take a huge amount of pride.
04:27We put a huge amount of effort into this.
04:29And, yeah, we're here to do the best we can.
04:33And a question for Sonny.
04:35Just how are you feeling in your frame of mind?
04:37I'm sure you've had a bit of a whirlwind season so far.
04:39Yeah, it's obviously, you know, I won't lie.
04:42I kind of didn't expect to be in this position when I started the year.
04:45It was probably my end of year goal.
04:49So, yeah, obviously it's been pretty much a year of new experiences for me,
04:54new calendar, playing new opponents with the better opponents.
04:57But, yeah, I wanted to start the year.
05:00I wanted to put myself in uncomfortable positions to get used to it.
05:03And I think, yeah, I finally feel like I'm starting to kind of find my feet.
05:07I'm feeling really happy on the court, really happy with my game
05:10and happy with what I've achieved so far.
05:12So, yeah, I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
05:15And like I said, we've been here for a few days now, so we kind of just want to get going.

05:29I just wonder, we know how important doubles can be in this competition.
05:34How much confidence did that give you to get that win under your belt
05:38and also to do it together as well?
05:40Yeah, obviously lovely to do it with her.
05:44Obviously the friends that we are.
05:48But, you know, yeah, we said before that we wanted to focus on the doubles as well
05:53because in ties like this, I mean, most of the, you know,
05:57the tight moments are going to come down to that doubles.
05:59So, yeah, taking it very seriously this week and the match we played last time
06:05just showed how well we can play together.
06:07So, yeah, hopefully and I believe that it's not going to get there
06:11because these two are going to get it done in singles.
06:14But if it does, then we're ready.
06:16And yeah, I've got total belief in the work that we've done.
06:19You know, all of us and having Louis as well here as well has been great.

07:44I don't think you can ever underestimate the pressure players put on themselves.
07:49You know, and the nerves and, you know, nerves, excitement that they feel once they're out there on the court.
07:55Because it is different to competing year round when you're representing your nation.
07:59Especially once you get to this stage of the competition, you're in the finals.
