00:00I'm super excited for this week. I think, you know, it's a privilege to be able to play for
00:11the U.S. and wear the American flag on my chest. I think it's a huge honor and we have a really
00:16great group of girls around us this week, led by Lindsay, and I'm really excited for it.
00:21This week it definitely gives us a little bit of a boost, a little bit more energy. This is a part
00:28of the season when it starts to feel a bit long and we can feel a little bit
00:33tired. Playing for your country and playing in a team environment is
00:39something that definitely brings you a bit of energy and, yeah, it's a little
00:45bit of a reprieve from a lot of the, you know, very serious work weeks. It's a
00:49little bit more of a fun week, so it's coming at a good time in the schedule and
00:53I'm excited for it. The vibe has been great on the team. Yeah, we have a really
01:01great group of girls and led by Lindsay, she's our faithful leader and she's a
01:07really, really fun person to be around and obviously knows a ton about the game.
01:11So, it's really awesome to be able to learn from her and be out on the court with
01:16her and then having Jess as our top players is really great and I learned a
01:21ton from her. Yeah, it's been fun so far. The group aspect of this week is
01:29something that's really special. It's not something that we get to experience that
01:33often on tour. A lot of times, you know, we're with our individual teams and
01:37there's not as much camaraderie as you feel this week. So, to be here and I'll be
01:43playing for a common cause and cheering each other on is something that's really
01:48fun and it's something that I love just about humanity in general, I guess, is
01:52cheering each other on. So, I really enjoy and it's a pleasure to be a part of.
01:58Kazakhstan is definitely going to be a tough opponent. You know, they have a good group of
02:04players and I know they'll pose a good challenge and a good threat but we're
02:08going to be ready for it and we've been working hard and we'll continue to do so and
02:12we'll be excited for the challenge. I came for the first time last year and I haven't
02:18spent a ton of time in China but I've had good experiences here in the past and
02:23maybe I'll be able to see a little bit more of the city this year. I think we'll
02:29bring the energy. I know we got some loud voices. Taylor's got a voice on her so I'm
02:34sure we'll be bringing the energy and yeah, we'll be ready to go.
