00:57Mon parents both felt that if you were as lucky as we were,
01:05that it was really important to give back.
01:08His focus of children living with life-threatening illnesses became my passion,
01:13not because he asked me to be a part of it,
01:17but because I just became incredibly passionate about it.
01:21and I have devoted my entire career, initially I thought I was going to be a lawyer,
01:27and I made a little bit of a switch, and I became so passionate about our programs
01:34that I am now the proud ambassador of all of Serious Fund Children's Network.
01:39In 1988, he founded our first camp for children living with serious illness in Connecticut,
01:50called the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp after Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
01:56Sadly, very shortly after we found our first program, our first camp, there was actually a wait list.
02:02So Dad knew that we needed to start opening up other camps,
02:06and so L'Envol is actually the fourth program, camp, camp and program that we started.
02:13Last year, we served over 220,000 children and their families, all free of charge.
02:20Well, actually, one of my favorite films is The Verdict, which they're showing.
02:28It was a very special time for my father.
02:31He really felt that his performance in The Verdict was kind of a compilation of all the hard work
02:38he had put into his career, and he felt like that was one of his best performances.
02:43I'd say my second favorite is The Sting, and my third favorite is Nobody's Fool.
02:50I think he would probably be involved because he always was.
02:59He wanted to use his voice for change.
03:01You know, that he wasn't perfect, but he was a very, very kind, generous man.
03:12He worked very hard at everything that he deemed important.
03:16If he was here, he would say that his greatest legacy is his philanthropy,
03:21that he loved his movie career, that that was, you know, kind of a venue for him
03:27to be able to do the other things that he loved, and he kind of had the best of both worlds.
03:32He was a good dad.
03:34It didn't come naturally to him, but he was a really good father, and he worked at it really hard.
03:42And so, by watching, we're going to just give it to God to you.
03:47We wanted to do this for you.

03:50Didn't come now with the life, in something that he was not willing to take in effect.
03:51Now, OK, thank you.
03:52Thank you.
03:53An amazing message.
03:56Dan Jensen.
03:58Can I hear you?
04:00Now, please.
04:01Thank you very much.
04:03That's my job, Brad.
