00:00So we're on site here at the Retreat York. My name is Richard, I'm from PGA Liberty and we are converting what was a mental health care institution that was been running for the past 230 years and we're converting it into 120 homes.
00:14So the grounds are 36 acres in total and it's a real hidden gem here. It's one of the highest points in York and has an anglo-saxon tumulus and a tennis court and a rose garden, an orchard as well and they're all being restored as part of the future development.
00:31It's a great two-star listed aspect of the site in itself so the landscape are arguably more important than the architecture and it's all here to stay as part of this future scheme that's been really sensitively designed in partnership with City of York Council and Historic England and the Retreat York themselves.
