00:00Seeing centres like this, close to where people live, delivering care in the community, it's a fantastic facility, it's clearly a great place to work, most importantly it's a great place to come to be a patient, to have that reassurance, a calm place to be.
00:21We want to see more of this throughout the country, it's a really fundamental part of our shift both to a digitally enabled health service but also having care close to where people are.
00:30That's what the taxpayers of this country deserve and that's what we're determined to give.
00:34It's a great facility built in the community to make sure that we get care in the community.
00:39It was one of Labour's main policy pledges during the general election campaign and I think this demonstrates that we're starting to deliver now and I think that's the next phase of government
00:49and what the government's all about now which is about delivering and seeing this, I mean this is going to help people not just in Corby but across Northamptonshire
00:58and hopefully it can alleviate some of the pressure on Kettering-General Hospital and people will start to see the benefit of it but once again it's treating people and serving people within the community and that's what it's all about.
01:09This is the fantastic facility that I've been proud to be here for the opening of today and this benefits people across Northamptonshire, Kettering-Corby and Wellingborough
01:18In Kettering, not only does it mean that patients who are there can come here, access services in a really relaxed environment but also it takes pressures off of Kettering-General
01:29meaning that our patients can come to here rather than having to go to Kettering-General, possibly queuing, being in a really tough environment
01:37and staff that are there can concentrate on the people that need to be in that hospital.
