00:00I think you're a bit more than what you let on, boy.
00:07That's when I was like, this is easy.
00:10This is what I wanted.
00:12What can you call me?
00:14They call me JPL.
00:18This mask, it really screwed with me over the years.
00:22Like, I liked hiding.
00:24I didn't like crowds.
00:25I didn't want to be part of the crowd.
00:28I wanted to just kind of be myself.
00:32But I expressed it in the wrong ways and the worst ways possible
00:37by hiding myself away from everyone and everything.
00:42There is one precise place for me that when I stand on it,
00:48it's the only time I feel like I'm not a character from a movie.
00:53Random applauses, standing ovations, feeling came back to me.
01:00They saved me.
01:02Emotion itself just brings me happiness.
01:05I don't know.
01:06I keep coming back to this little place to find, I guess,
01:11not just my meaning in music, but myself in life.
01:14The symphony orchestra have been around the world
01:18and they've done some big things.
01:21But I think they're going to find that we're not just finding our voice.
01:25We've found our voice.
01:27And they've seen nothing yet.
01:30You know what?
01:32You might have read this part of my damn story,
01:36but you've never flipped the damn page.
01:39I'll tell you what, I'm proud to be here today.
01:41That mad dog, he's there, you know, on the rise.
