00:00I think that synodality is a way of describing
00:04how we can come together and be a community
00:07and seek communion as a church
00:10so that it's a church whose primary focus
00:13is not on an institutional hierarchy
00:16but rather on a sense of we together, our church
00:21and each person with his or her own vocation
00:25priests or lady or bishops
00:30missionaries, families
00:33everyone with a specific vocation that they've been given
00:36it's a role to play and something to compare
00:38and together we look for the way to go on
00:43and walk together as church
00:45it's again an attitude
00:49which I think can teach a lot for the world today
00:52I think that if a little bit ago we were talking about polarization
00:56I think this is sort of an antidote
00:59I think this is a way of addressing some of the greatest challenges
01:03that we have in the world today
01:04and saying I do very much hope that the process
01:09if you will, that began long before the last synod
01:12at least in Latin America
01:14and I think I've spoken about my experience there
01:17and again something the Latin American church
01:19has really contributed to the European church
01:21but I think there's great hope
01:23if we can continue to build on the experience
01:27of the past couple of years
01:28and find ways of being in church together
01:30not to try and transform the church
01:36into some kind of democratic government
01:37which if we look at many countries around the world today
01:40democracy is not necessarily a perfect solution to everything
01:45or at least the way that
01:47you know, with its limitations
01:49it's moving about
01:51but respecting, understanding
01:55the life of the church for what it is
01:57and saying we have to do this together
01:59and I think that offers great opportunity
02:03to the church
02:04and offers an opportunity for the church
02:07to engage with the rest of the world
02:10and the faith for the church
02:13you know, if you're keeping faith in power
02:15you know, maybe do the church
02:18if you're doing sì
02:19and the faith of the church
02:19and you're listening
02:20I love when the family just cut off
02:21and I laugh just some shit
02:22but of course you can call me
02:24out
02:25like I've got serious
02:25and there you go
02:26that I'm doing
02:28it's been a long time
02:28so you can be done
02:30yeah I mean
02:31that's a good
02:33thing
02:33and it's a great
02:34yeah
02:35so
02:35yeah
