00:00Today I'm going to start a peace walk which is 205 days here from San Francisco.
00:10We got the statue here. It's pretty old. It's all in 1988.
00:15So this is the place I'm going to start this journey.
00:19It will be around 4,000 miles, 7,000 kilometers.
00:23So today is the day to start the journey.
00:28This is my trolley. Right now you can see.
00:31I'm going to carry this trolley along the way.
00:34It's called Walking with Peace San Francisco to Washington DC, America.
00:39So this is where we are in America.
00:41So I will reach on 18th August 2025 in Washington DC to meet the President of the United States.
00:47And I'm so thankful to each other's organic farm and letting it reach for our supporting journey in the USA.
00:55So pretty excited.
00:57So it's a very simple intention I have to have peace in the world, especially the geopolitical conditions around the world.
01:05I feel like this is a very dark time as Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine war is going on in America.
01:12So there are so many conflicts across the world.
01:15So this is very, very important to start the journey in your America, to walk in America, Russia, China, Iran, India.
01:23So these are my future plans.
01:26But yeah, pretty excited to start this and I'm very happy to be on the road again to walk with peace.
01:33Walking with peace means to have peace inside and carry that peace, to transfer that peace to other people.
01:42So it's just a simple journey, I say.
01:44Be with peace because most of the time we are in conflict with our minds.
01:48And my journey is to be peace within, then peace will outside.
01:53And once peace within they come, then peace outside will come.
01:57So that is the goal of this journey, to promote non-violence and peace. Thank you.
02:03The place where he was in peace and I got opportunity to be in that sail, to sleep overnight.
02:08And then a lot of learning, it was a big, big, big, I think so, moment in South Africa.
02:15Then me and Nikita Shuni, we walked together from South Africa to Kenya.
02:20All the way?
02:22Yeah, so what we do is, every country we go, we do like certain distance.
02:26Like South Africa is 1200 kilometers, then some countries 500 kilometers, 600 kilometers,
02:32depending on the visa, the size of the country.
02:35So if you do continue, it will take 4-5 years.
02:38Africa is massive.
02:39Africa is big.
02:40It's massive.
02:41How long did it take from South Africa to Kenya?
02:43I think it took around 8 months.
02:46And then I go very slow.
02:48Like I spend a lot of time in cities.
02:50So I can mobilize people.
02:53First I go to Indian embassies, Indian people.
02:56So these Indian people help me to connect with the local communities.
02:59Then it's like, it's network after network.
03:02So that's what I did in Africa.
03:04Then Sudan, I was in the middle of the conflict.
03:06And there was a war going on.
03:09I was walking into Sudan and Egypt.
03:11Then I celebrate Ghandi Jaya.
03:13Hang on.
03:14What about war?
03:16In Sudan?
03:17You were like...
03:18Yeah, there was a civil war in Daffer area.
03:20And then there was army.
03:22So Al-Bashar was in power.
03:24So the people protested.
03:26And in this woman, you see the picture of woman on the bus.
03:31If you remember that in 2018.
03:34So there was a big movement against the government.
03:37So the army captured Al-Bashar.
03:39And now the army took control of the nation.
03:42And now people say, you don't want army.
03:44You want democracy.
03:46So people were on the street at that time.
03:48And I just reached that target.
03:50The people were protesting against Al-Bashar.
03:53Even with the non-violence.
03:55And this whole situation...
03:57I was so happy.
03:59One of my beautiful moments was...
04:01There was one woman on the stage.
04:03In Islamic country.
04:05And she was addressing thousands of people.
04:08So that was so beautiful to see something like that in Sudan.
04:11Because I never seen a woman on the...
04:14Like in the countryside outside the home.
04:17I seen once only at each time.
04:19When they came and shared my hand.
