00:00Everton fans are in for a treat. Hill Dickinson Stadium opens its doors for behind the scenes tours.
00:07For the first time, supporters will be able to step inside the club's brand new home on the banks of the River Mersey
00:15and walk in the footsteps of their heroes.
00:18Obviously with Goodison Park, the last year of men's football at Goodison Park, the tours were sold out.
00:25But now here transferring it down to Hill Dickinson.
00:30Ellen and her team have done a wonderful job. They're very, very professional at what they do.
00:35It's going to be a 90-minute tour. It's going to be different phases to go through.
00:40At the heart of the experience, the circular home dressing room,
00:45where manager David Moyes will be rallying his team on match days.
00:49From there, visitors can take that iconic tunnel walk straight on to the pitch.
00:54It's an unbelievable place. It's a dream come true for us.
00:58We obviously left Goodison Park with heavy hearts.
01:01There's so much history back there.
01:03And obviously the women are playing there, which is fantastic for them as well.
01:07That must give them an absolute buzz every time they run out there as well, which is great for them.
01:11But here, it's just incredible. I'm absolutely blown away by the place.
01:17Pitchside, the scale of the stadium really comes to life. Fans can even sit in the manager's chair at the dugout for that perfect photo moment.
01:26The 90-minute tour takes in state-of-the-art media theatre as well.
01:30And the views are incredible of the pitch and Liverpool's skyline.
01:36Every single ex-player that I've seen have been absolutely blown away by this stadium.
01:41It's incredible. The noise of the fans. Everybody talks about, can we replicate the atmosphere from Goodison Park down here to Hill Dickinson.
01:50And the fans have more than played their part in that. I think the atmosphere has been outstanding.
01:55Along the way, visitors will hear stories of Everton's rich history as the club's legacy at Bramley Moor Dock is brought to life through interactive storytelling.
02:03And it's tough as well. It's not easy to just walk into a new stadium and have that fear factor straight away.
02:09In some respects, away sides can turn up here and think, I fancy coming and playing here. What a fantastic stadium to play in.
02:18But we've got to turn that round as a football club and we've got to make sure that we impose ourselves upon the opposition and make sure that this becomes a fortress.
02:27Because when Everton at Goodison Park was bouncing, there was a really, really difficult place.
02:33If you actually listen to people down the years, they always turn around and say Goodison Park was one of the toughest places to come and play football.
02:40We now need to make Hill Dickinson every bit as tough for a wayside.
02:44And to round it off, there's time to relax too, with a drink and a bite to eat.
02:50The tours are fully accessible, open to all ages and a journey through Everton's past, present and future.
