00:00Hello, yes I'm here on a sunny but slightly bitter day. Summer in London is drawing to a close and it's been a full-on summer.
00:10Formula E once again tore through the Docklands at the Excel Centre while Little Sims took over Southbank with her Meltdown Festival curating a line-up that pulled artists from across the globe.
00:24Somerset Houses Courtyard turned into one of the city's most atmospheric venues and Kew Gardens put on a run of open-air shows.
00:35Then in the parks it was festival season. Wireless packed out Finsbury Park and Hyde Park delivered another round of huge British summertime concerts.
00:46And then came one of the standout moments of the season. Oasis finally returned to the stage at Wembley, something fans thought they might never see again.
01:00And of course there was Notting Hill Carnival made its return this year. Despite controversies, it still brought colour, sound and huge crowds to the west of London.
01:16A reminder of just how central it is to the capital's summer tradition.
01:21Talking of tradition, there were events at Buckingham Palace too with its opening of staterooms to visitors from around the world.
01:32It's been a month of music, festivals and long evenings, several months of them being outdoors.
01:39But days are already getting shorter, slightly colder and the first leaves are beginning to fall.
01:45Summer is coming to a close and autumn is well and truly on its way.
01:51So do Londoners like autumn in the city and what is their favourite thing to do in the rain?
01:58To me, autumn is winter. Autumn is winter.
02:03So from summer ending, all of the weather is winter and I hate it.
02:10I'm definitely like a summer person. So it's gross.
02:15I don't really think any city, maybe like, maybe somewhere in like New York or America.
02:22I can see like for the, I feel like they do autumn quite well because it's still a bit warm.
02:27Maybe I'm making that up. But yeah, I think it's bleak. It's horrible.
02:31I am mourning the end of summer right now. So, yeah.
02:36Yeah. So mixed, to be honest. So it's the end of the cricket season.
02:40Weather changes. Walking up great. I mean, we go for walks up in Highgate and down in town around Regent's Park, places like that.
02:49For me personally, the leaves falling. I live close to the fields.
02:53The leaves falling, blocking gutters. It's a bit of a nightmare. So that's to come.
02:57I love the colours of the autumn around Highbury.
