05:12The muses standing here deal with something
05:13millions of people experience on a regular basis,
05:17to find fashionable clothes that work for them so for this challenge sponsored by lily you will
05:22be making a look for women and men who struggle with eczema and the design you're making is for
05:31a night out on the town and it should be comfortable and fashionable and it needs to produce a jaw
05:37dropping reveal on the runway so muses in order to pick your designer i have the trusty little

06:48thank you so interesting that we got this challenge because i actually also had eczema
06:53so like yeah cool well you're coming with like some inside knowledge then yeah yeah yeah
06:58eczema is an immune system disorder i actually have eczema too in my hands you know and i know how
07:04people can build insecurities when they have eczema what do you feel comfortable like with what you
07:09wear are you like allergic to any fabrics or you know if there's a flare-up that's like sometimes i'd be
07:13more conscious of something and i would just avoid like things that are really scratchy okay perfect you
07:18know what i mean well i'm gonna line everything in silk so you're comfortable really nice like
07:22nothing but luxury please okay yeah this is a tufts challenge we have to make them feel comfortable
07:28but i also have to make him feel like a fashionista i want to make him feel cool so i'm thinking like
07:34really cool pants you know like a jacket and then like a really low v shirt this is like a little
07:39effeminate for me are you seriously being for real but i also want to like work with you no no no and
07:46we can play that would that wouldn't be like my first thought okay like and but i also want to
07:50take you out of your comfort zone and i want you to make a piece that you're gonna wear and be like
07:54wow that's hard to take me out of my comfort zone i don't know but it's gonna be my challenge okay
07:59right yeah we talked about the challenge but then all of a sudden like we started really getting
08:04closer and talking of like just life where do you want to get married mexico for sure i properly
08:09speak spanish and i know like a lot of americans say this but oh my god then my husband
08:15are we on a date right now like you speak spanish that's perfect oh my gosh my ex-boyfriend's gonna
08:20be so jealous hey sus you need to focus bro come on concentrate concentrate
08:30i want to forget that eczema is a thing right i want to feel so pretty that like my skin is not
08:35even a concern so like show whatever you want because like the outfit isn't that good
08:39that's my bill my whole mo with drag queens is creating a gaggy moment but i'm feeling a little
08:47daunted because i'm hoping i can bring my big crazy sensibilities to a real person what would you like
08:55to reveal can we show leg show leg yeah love those those work my favorite color is white a white is
09:03a really good base that can be revealed into something else so i think we have some fun ideas
09:09but okay i don't know if we have the one i don't have my vision quite yet i have a hundred different
09:14ideas in my head you know i need to decide on the right one the right vibe because i want to make
09:19rachel feel like a boss ass bitch tell me more about your eczema eczema is an immune system disorder
09:25it can be internally and external like it has to do with what you're eating but it can also be
09:30environmental triggers the clothes you're wearing the fabrics can you tell me your favorite colors um
09:36um i love wearing nudes nudes any prints do you like prints no i just can't do prints
09:44what are you talking about girlfriend no prints at all no plaid no polka dot no stripe any sequins
09:50no honestly i usually try to keep it simple you have no sparkly in your life no got it yeah no
09:56pastels no sequins nice okay yeah i'm feeling lots of apprehension and anxiety
10:03i have to deliver for the challenge but at the same time i have to make my client happy because
10:11that's a part of the challenge so what can the reveal be if she doesn't like anything sparkly or
10:17bright so everything jewel is saying might send me home oh my god i'm so excited listen i've been in the top
10:28but i haven't won yet everybody here has won a challenge i haven't won i've been this close
10:34i'm like this is my challenge put in the universe yes i'm used to working with real clients it's
10:44definitely an advantage i need to learn about stephanie her personality her sister's style how
10:49her skin condition affects her fashion choices where do you usually get like your breakouts so i usually get
10:55them like on my wrist um like in between right here i'm thinking about like something beaded with
11:02a pattern and like structure with the nice soft lining yeah i think for me it's just like as long as
11:09like you said the lining is nice soft yeah i'm single right now and i'm going on dates i'm thinking we
11:17should do an expensive fabric because you you're expensive and you want an ex a boyfriend that can afford you
11:22amen to that i'm designing the cocktail beaded dress with the princess line flare coat with sleeves
11:31with a cape i totally trust you i love your vibe so jayden can you tell me more about your skin
11:37condition it flares up a lot when like i'm like hot or like sweaty like my face sometimes flares up i don't
11:44want that skin reaction or skin condition to affect your confidence because we're gonna make this work so
11:52what's your personal style like courtesos like this i wear all the time okay if you are going on a
11:58night out where do you usually go you know we like to dance a lot you know look for girls what's the
12:05color that you like to wear blue black or green okay perfect jayden is a really cool guy and confidence
12:13is a very important power that someone should have an eczema sometimes takes away confidence from you so i am
12:21designing pants and a jacket with zipper details and also a quarter zip sweater i trust you yes we're
12:30gonna win we're gonna win this all right make sure you pick the right fabrication to make them feel
12:40comfortable confident sexy and a special reveal okay go my girl is getting laid in this dress i know
12:49i can nail this challenge and win but fabric choice is very tricky here i want it to look expensive but
12:56i wanted to feel really good on my girl stephanie's skin that green's pretty i have expensive taste right
13:02hmm i need like a sweater ish material i choose a soft wool for the sweater because it's a natural
13:12fabric and denim because it's 100 cotton so i know that it will not irritate jayden's skin
13:20does he like a beaded tweed coat he's going to oh it's like a little effeminate for me
13:26because jared's style is very simple i want to push him and make him look more fashionable and
13:34modern i find this really amazing tweed that has a little bit of sequin and it has like really
13:39amazing texture and i love the color i want to make jared happy but this is also a design competition
13:46and it's the final five i have to make sure that i inject my dna into this design
13:51where is the double-faced wool like please okay i specifically am looking for a double-faced brushed
13:59wool because usually wool fabric fibers are poking your skin and making you itch but when it's brushed
14:05they're going horizontally against your skin and it's softer i'm not mad at this can you pull this out
14:11a little bit so i can see it more jewel does not like prints but i find a nice plaid print choosing
14:19this fabric meets both of our needs she could wear it on the plaid or she could wear it on the solid
14:2320 minutes the reveal part is really important so i'm thinking crystal the beauty within there is a
14:32way you have to use it to make sure that doesn't irritate the skin so i'm considering that it's a risk
14:37but this is so beautiful i'm here for the drama we go crazy we go here we go we're back jesus you're
14:46not going to beat me this time are you sure about that i mean you thought that last week and i beat you
14:52so i cannot believe i haven't won yet jesus went to fashion college but i'm still fat he's always been
15:00on top he hasn't been in the bottom but i have to stay positive head up because i am here to fight
15:08so is it is this gonna be the antonio versus jesus challenge let's see who's the better twin is it
15:14antonio or jesus i am here to win so if i need to steer the part i will definitely do that
15:24hello christian hi guys are we nervous yes yes hmm belania when you talked to jewel did she say she
15:41like shine or plaid no no and you got her silver lame yeah that's a reveal fabric yeah i feel like
15:50it's very important for my reveal to have a wow moment so my look is a reveal in a reveal it's a
15:57trench coat that opens up into a top that turns into a dress i am not effing around about the reveal
16:04i really want to prove to you that this tweet could go really like modern and grung and cool i do have
16:11a little bit of inside knowledge of how certain fabrics can trigger flare-ups but i'm not too
16:15concerned because i'm planning on lining my coat with silk so i know that that's going to feel really
16:21good against jared's skin i will say like my mom does have a coat just like this like the whole reveal
16:28is going to be when he takes the coat off i have this beautiful collar beaded collar beaded collar
16:34and then he has this beautiful lv my job i feel with this challenge is to like make him feel comfortable
16:41make him feel comfortable okay you know and something cool and edgy thank you antonio
16:47i'm like i want to do three reveals i like that you're whispering you don't want anybody to know
16:52i'm trying to be quiet because you know people there's top five that tries to my ideas
16:57so i'm doing a cape over this so she can take her hands out and the cape drops and then she has
17:03this dress and then takes that and then takes this off mid front way and then she has to beat it you
17:07should do it but you have to really do it and this has to be fabulous too yes of course oh lord
17:13we have so much to do i do have a lot of work to do oh my god my whole goal for this week is to win
17:20i'm coming from being on the top twice it's so close
17:27the reveal is a green sweater i saw this fabric and i'm like oh lord my uncle's christmas sweater that
17:36he wore for 30 years i think that sweater is giving me nightmares i know well i need to make it a little
17:42more interesting because it's the reveal i can give them a crazy reveal 100 but my client is not
17:50outrageous my client is a young straight dude as long as my client likes it then i'm all good
17:58what are you doing i'm gonna do this little bustier top with all these crystals we're gonna do this mesh
18:05beaded all on her skin oh and you picked hospital white this feels super mod and like not this this
18:15makes me really nervous it's like white cape with this bra i don't know i'm like why can't it reveal
18:24into a white mini dress yeah i'd have to do a hard pivot it's tough with the amount of time i know
18:33i'm annoyed changing it now is going to be so difficult yeah it's overwhelming yeah i'm running
18:41out of time it's the final five and i cannot trip up now what are you thinking i think i have to do a
18:52hard pivot he doesn't like the two together at all he thinks the white's too sterile i got all the
18:58supplies to do the rorschach take the black and incorporate it on you know what i mean i could
19:02paint the out of this follow your intuition and don't waste time i am pivoting to art and doing
19:10a rorschach design where it takes the beauty of the patterns of eczema on the skin and turning it
19:17in twinning flop hello hello you're like my boyfriend how do you feel in this i like it yeah
19:35i don't know about the silver and i probably wouldn't pair the dress with shorts so but i believe in her
19:43i want you to love it babe i am nervous about jewel not being on board with the silver fabric so i'm
19:51highly concerned about myself this is your coat wow do you love it uh i uh um i don't uh it's not the
20:04colors i thought it was going to be it's not like anything else i have in my closet i can say that
20:10it's a bit effeminate we might need to like take it up a little bit yeah yeah i'm also curious like
20:15what it would look like as like a mid-dive i think that looks fun there i'm getting annoyed
20:20because he's fighting me on a couple things that i have to do on the design but i know that it's
20:24going to look great at the end jesus obviously you're not listening to what your client wants
20:30but i am not surprised i just don't think someone young and cool wants to wear this jacket right now
20:37like i would never buy that jacket or wear it all right and i'm young and cool you're not as cool
20:41as me i would wear it oh christian why don't you tell vj what you think about that ugly sweater
20:48underneath oh my god no i know that jaden will not be happy to wear a sleeveless letter that would
20:57show off his arms and even though personally i don't think it's that cool that's what my client
21:03wants the client wants something simple give them something simple it's christmas sweater it's a
21:08christmas what what did he say he said it's a christmas sweater what did i say i said this is
21:15a christmas sweater that my uncle had wait there's gonna be a zipper in there i don't care i really
21:19like the design she managed to make it look just as good as i imagined she's still sticking true to
21:24what i want oh yeah i'm gonna look swagged out rachel how are you feeling i'm in super pattern
21:29mm-hmm this uh-huh the print this is the lining the lining of what the coat what that's the reveal
21:37no yeah this is a graduation gown in white i decided to scrap this beautiful crystal fabric
21:46and now i'm really struggling it's really hard for me to keep bending to other people's whims it's a
21:53delicate balance of adapting my drag sensibilities while appeasing myself but also my client do you
22:01think i'm being tough law will go crazy no i'm not letting this happen okay we're not gonna let it
22:08happen whatever changes this man is suggesting that's what we need to do because i will not get
22:13tore up under these bright lights you love the fabrics how they feel originally she wanted sleeves
22:19but if we can show the tatas she's gonna do strapless yeah you got a wild one to work with wild in a
22:26good way christian antonio has this in the bag he's so talented and amazing and i know it's gonna come
22:32out beautiful we got a medical plan for my eczema so i'm ready to show off my skin and get myself a husband

23:11after my client fitting i know i have to commit to this asymmetrical blouse because i have no more time
23:17but it's not working i hate it i know i have to figure it out because the clock is ticking and
23:24i'm getting more and more nervous yeah i'm about to be in the bottom i feel it
23:27let's do this i have so much to do there are three runways left but only two before the finale
23:44so the pressure is on oh i love the sweater bj thank you reminds me of my grandpa jesus shirt is
23:54giving me magician and it needs to disappear hi everybody let's bring in the client i'm still sewing

24:10out so once you go to the runway like and you kind of slowly open it and then you reveal because
24:16it's a part of the challenge that's perfect what uh no i mean it's a little like what not as like
24:24masculine as i envisioned girl dude what do you want to change the collar is too extra for me
24:32like what if we like didn't have this part in the bottom and it wasn't like totally bedazzled all the
24:36way through there's not much time and jared has a lot of notes but it is a real client's challenge
24:42so i have to make sure he likes the look if not my ass is going home hi slick do your magic make her
24:51feel like a million bucks glam you're not gonna unzip the thing i'm getting nervous vj's look it's a
24:59beautifully constructed garment but no reveal you didn't do the challenge

25:14hello designers the final five crazy as you know in fashion one day you're in and the next day
25:21you're out for this challenge you were asked to design a look for men and women who struggle with
25:26eczema not only should the outfit be comfortable and fashionable for a night out it needed to produce
25:33a jaw dropping reveal on the runway so let's meet the judges cfda award-winning stylist and image
25:40architect la roach one of my favorite designers out there harris reed harris reed oh my gosh gag
25:52everybody knows him for the iconic look he did for denny moore for the megala so i'm really excited
25:58for him to be our guest judge and comedian and my twin nikki glazer oh my gosh thank you nikki glazer
26:07is hot right now she's killing in the comedy world i'm like oh my god is she gonna roast us on stage let's
26:12stop the show wow stephanie feels confident she's killing it i am so happy i feel like she feels good
26:27better than that yeah she loves it i got something for you everybody yeah look at us now oh la la i'm so
26:38proud of my client i love her so much i know she wants to win as much as i do the great little jazz
26:46her man is at the end of the runway take me out with you baby and i think this is my time to win can i pick
26:52get up seeing jayden walk on that runway i feel so accomplished there's the balance of simplicity
27:06and intricacy and he looks expensive i met the jacket was really well made jacket yeah
27:11that was quite a reveal if you want the drama with that jacket off you know he looks so amazing that
27:25it's like oh i don't need that reveal because he actually looks like a celebrity walking in that
27:30runway where was the reveal isn't that the point of the challenge look at us now you got me in the ties
27:41girl seems to be walking very fiercely the jacket looks absolutely amazing on her
27:55with that being said this look is a product of me trying to appease my client
28:01it's not feeling good it's not looking good is it a dress it's two pieces
28:05it would be a total pity if i went home off of this challenge because this look does not reflect
28:15who i am as a designer
28:24work i'm loving this beautiful cover-up and then pow it opens up into this beautiful ink blot motif
28:33making my own print was a really strong choice but i'm so glad i did that
28:41she was hot i like how confident she feels in that though you don't question that she loves it
28:46it looks really good
28:53yes jared i think jared is feeling very confident on the runway he's feeling himself he's feeling the
28:59look he feels fashionable i think the reveal went really well i see the appliques look really shiny
29:07on the runway i'm happy it's a little messy though that shirt it's giving magician however the judges
29:16they look confused now i'm starting to feel nervous maybe i should have listened to jared more i could be in
29:23trouble that was fun designers i'm so excited to see how your clients feel about the things that you
29:35created for them which is the most important thing that is the truth okay we're gonna start with you
29:42ethan are you happy i love it i really do i think what i wanted most of all was something that was so
29:49striking that like my skin was not in the conversation and so like i'm extremely happy
29:54love what did you think about this look i think that you could have done a better job with the
29:59placement of her breast you know my thing i wish you would have snatched that waist in a little bit more
30:04but i loved it her reveal was an actual reveal because i thought i was like oh she's so demure
30:10you know and then she came out i was like oh she's a whore which i love thank you
30:15you know you are confident my only thing is i kind of wish the pattern was on the outside of
30:22the cape as well i think it would have really kind of brought the whole thing home i love the design i
30:27love that it's an inkblot the rorschach like what i'm getting from it is that my mom is apologizing to
30:33me finally you know uh but i would have preferred the print on the outside too for me this code is beyond
30:41bad i did not like this at all to me it looked like a lab coat when she had this on so i feel
30:47like it needed to be a little bit longer there's still a taste level that has to be there and i feel
30:52like it's not there i'm glad that you love it but me looking at it i did not love it thank you ethan
31:00and thank you rachel thank you okay antonio and stephanie this coat for me feels very and
31:07the couture yes very much couture so that was absolutely great and then she peels and she
31:12comes into this really beautiful party dress and she seems really sexy and i'm actually getting
31:18attracted to your cleavage and i was too and i'm extremely gay but snap out of it
31:26it's the biggest compliment this is probably one of your best looks of this whole entire competition
31:33thank you i really love the beating on this how it like it kind of changes on the back
31:39it's not as concentrated on the back and i think that's unexpected and i really liked it you look
31:43sophisticated sexy the guys are gonna line up you said you're single and you're looking and you're
31:49ready to mingle this is gonna get the job done thank you antonio thank you okay vj and jaden you were
31:59like a supermodel on the runway today i really liked the design vj did a great job she figured out a
32:05way for me to still have swag i felt like you were really liking yourself in this when you came down you
32:10were like yes this is me and i love how i look as a designer you gave him what he needed you clearly
32:17have such incredible skill and craftsmanship i think that this is a really well executed piece and
32:22leather is such a difficult thing to sew that jacket is tailored to perfection and then you know to
32:27have the panels of the leather in the pan makes everything more elevated it looks expensive i just
32:34had cool written down a bunch you just looked so cool but where was the reveal that is what the problem
32:42was this was the reveal yeah but that's not a reveal that's just it's not taking the jacket off
32:49okay let's talk to bolania and jul next if an outfit could be a mullet this would be it it is
32:57business on the top and party underneath it's literally like one of those bad girls that wrapped
33:03up and she got the pointy toe shoes with the ankle straps like bye mom i'm going to bible study and she's
33:08really going to swing on the ball this really confused the out of me how do you feel about it
33:16though it's definitely a piece that's different from everything else in my closet but you would you
33:21spend your money on it be honest it's okay i probably wouldn't buy this myself
33:26so to me it was a complete miss and you failed her it's like it's kate middleton with the coat on and
33:37then you take it off and it's kate middleton in 2006 drunk in the back of a cab i mean i love the top
33:43and the shape and the in the silver and then the back of it i think is really cool i would have just
33:47liked to see it as a dress you're really sexy in your stand-up shows oh thanks and if that was like a
33:51a tiny little dress that almost quite a little bit inappropriate yeah where the front rows getting
33:55a vip package yeah like i'm surprised that you look at this and you think that the drape is looking
34:03on point looks like it got stuck somewhere and got shredded up or something like it looks like a
