00:00it was a surprise to all of us yeah yeah it was weird because we hadn't spoken in yeah yeah
00:0515 years yeah yeah it felt like it was just yesterday yeah because you look and everyone's
00:13in the same place pretty much looking the same more tattoos except old yeah you see
00:19you think oh that's weird there's an old man singing and you go oh that's me
00:30this is spinal tap there's a fine line between stupid and clever we thought that he really took
00:36umbridge the unsuccessful uh uh things that happened on the tour that's what he wanted to go
00:44for he said if it bleeds it leads we don't even know what that means now but he wanted to go with
00:49the bad news here's the bad news yeah and we felt ridiculed and it wasn't a good feeling us being
00:56lost yeah everyone gets lost once in a while yeah it's only happened to us what 10 or 12 times and
01:02you know the many years we've been together never more than 15 times one times going to the stage
01:07and it happens in classical music a lot yeah you know you've got 80 string players especially the
01:13cellists the cellists they're always getting lost yeah yeah because they're always walking around
01:17like this you know yeah we haven't seen the new new one yet no he says he says we come off really well
01:23but we'll see it i guess at some point yeah yeah we're being forced to see it it's a good question
01:27yeah we are supposed to see it yeah they're showing it on an imax screen somewhere yeah and then we're
01:34going to have to dodge a lot of questions afterwards yeah so make these count because we're going to go
01:39mum yeah i'd like to sink her with my pink torpedo pink torpedo that's yeah literature yeah yeah really
01:48i don't want to go into it i thought that he was a bit arrogant i thought that he was a bit bossy
01:56i don't want to go into it we're not speaking uh we parted on terrible terms but i don't want to go
02:02into it i didn't have the same experience at all well you were all over him we were well no no but
02:08it was nice it was nice meeting him playing with him it was great you know decent songwriter
02:14there was a little different thing going on here i think we can all agree it was an outrage that you
02:19were not inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame that you were refused entry i think it was the
02:23letter that upset me which just said fuck off yes you could say no not yet it said fuck off sincerely
02:32yours yeah well that's it was hurtful you don't have to be rude do you you can say no thank you
02:39right but fuck off is you know and then in small letters eat me what is that i know it's redundancy
02:47what the hell is that what are you talking about yeah i will not first of all no look it's uh
02:53it's a sore topic they're selling a shirt in in the hall of fame that says hello cleveland
03:01they're selling that we don't get any money for that at all no
03:06oh yeah it was a new a new angle wasn't it yeah he's a great singer she's a great singer yeah
03:17what more can you say she's i think she's better looking than him but that's me
03:23well that's not you that's her i don't think i'm better looking than either one of them really
03:29no that's true as well yeah so they're both great they're both fantastic yeah i'm more or less an
03:35american now you know so i see things through the prism of the u.s yeah so i've got to say taking a
03:41leak on the alamo had to be my favorite aussie moment yeah well i met him once and it was some club
03:49in in uh soho in london and he was coming out i was going in and he said oh hello then and i said
03:56yeah hello and that was it that's a rich story there well you know a lot going on truth it's the truth
04:03no you're not dressing it up and then uh as far as songs you know what song i like it makes me happy
04:10every time i hear it weirdly is that one day oh where they say day oh oh he doesn't he doesn't sing
04:16that that's not his that's not his no that's harry belafonte that's a very cheerful a lot of people
04:21mistake harry belafonte's work for aussie's okay wrong wrong that's on me then yeah all over you
04:29yeah rock and roll nightmare every year it gets truer and weirder and yet more familiar so we love playing
04:39that song we've never recorded it we've recorded it once or twice yeah yeah and we play it now it makes
04:44you think it's just the title makes you think yeah and uh and yet here we are not thinking yeah
04:59it felt like it was just yesterday yeah because you look and there everyone's in the same place
05:06pretty much you remember we've done it hundreds and hundreds of times you remember everything and
05:11then you do it muscle memory you know yeah yeah but we really did have an amazing crowd that day
05:17they were all over us and the great thing is that if they're really fans which is you hope they sing
05:22along and so i don't have to remember the words because i watch them he's a lip reader because they're
05:27doing you know they're doing it and so if i have trouble with a lyric i just look at them yeah it helps
05:41to that mystic life we would just like to congratulate billboard for hanging in there since night since
05:481894 even before we were on the planet just about this just about the same time yeah there's nothing like
05:55you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you
06:00know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you know you
