00:00So this season has been billed as almost like a reset. We have a two-year time jump.
00:04So what sort of changes can we expect? And is it truly a reset for the show?
00:10You know, it's interesting. They do play with time season to season coming in.
00:14It's never sort of like, you know, not completely linear.
00:18Yeah. And I think, I don't know that it's a reset for the show because every year,
00:23well, in a sense they do because we bring in a number of new cast members to shake up.
00:27And I think each year is different in the sense that it always revolves around a theme.
00:32And this one, I think, is about the corruptive power of power, the corruptive elements of power.
00:38That's sort of at the forefront of this and all revolving mostly around AI,
00:43you know, and the impact of AI today and potentially in the future.
00:47So I think it's not a hard reset, but, you know, certainly thematically that's the focus.
00:52Did working on this season, especially tackling AI, did it make you confront your own feelings around AI?
01:00Or did it make you more cautious? Or did it make you think about it in a different way?
01:05Interesting. Yeah, there isn't, without giving too much away, there's an incident that occurs that makes you think,
01:11wow, this could be, there's definitely dangers and red flags.
01:16Too real?
01:16It can be a little bit, absolutely. But I'm hopeful. I'm a hopeful person.
01:20I think, I hope that the pull for humanity is so strong and the human contact that it'll be more of a tool
01:30and less of a replacement, you know, for humanity.
01:34Well, being that there is a time jump that takes place in 2024,
01:38how does this season tackle maybe the politics surrounding 2024?
01:42For any elements of the election or Trump?
01:45So I can't give, I can't give away too much.
01:48I think this year there was, but this season, it was less of an emphasis on the political side
01:52and more sort of on social implications of these things.
01:56There are politics, but there are politics within the station, for sure, on many different levels,
02:02but less so on sort of the, you know, the political election or like that. Yeah.
02:06Well, a lot of great new additions this season. Can we talk about that a little bit?
02:12And also, is there anyone that you are trying to pitch to get onto the show for possibly next season?
02:18Oh, wow.
02:19The sky's the limit.

02:22I mean, I would always, I mean, listen, I had the best time working with Vera Farmiga on Bates Motel.
