00:00What can viewers expect from season two?
00:04I need a crash guard!
00:06It's big drama.
00:08Relationships.
00:09Hope.
00:10Possibility.
00:11And definitely some new twists.
00:16In the first season, Amy loses eight years of her memories.
00:22The question is whether Amy is going to get any of that back.
00:25The exciting thing about season two is Amy starts to get these little flashes.
00:29They're not full memories.
00:30And you're like, was that real?
00:32Was that not real?
00:33They're just flashes without any context.
00:35A piece of cake, flowers, snow globe.
00:38It becomes really urgent to figure out what's going on.
00:41I want you to put me in the tape.
00:43I feel like this is where we're going to start to see all of the parts of Amy become integrated.
00:48I think it's going to be fun for the audience to try to put things together.
00:51Same as Amy putting things together.
00:53I think my brain is trying to warn me about something.
00:57Also this season, there are new characters introduced.
01:00We need a new chief of internal medicine.
01:02I'm Felicity Huffman, and I play Dr. Joan Ridley.
01:05She's a brilliant doctor, and it turns out she has been a big part of Amy's past.
01:12In two months, there will be an official evaluation.
01:14Some of you will not survive it.
01:16When your friend becomes your boss, it gets complicated.
01:19You're reviewing my cases?
01:21She really shakes things up a bit.
01:23And moving forward, we'll see if Joan is someone that Amy can trust.
01:27And then we also meet a younger intern named Hannah.
01:30And quite early on, you get the sense that there's maybe more going on there.
01:35My father was a doctor here in your department for three years.
01:39Wait, your father worked under me when I was chief?
01:42Her family has a past with Amy.
01:44And I'm not sure what's going to happen next.
01:49I know I can't ask you to wait for me.
01:51Please, stop this.
01:52Everyone loves a love triangle.
01:54This love triangle I find particularly complicated and heartbreaking.
01:58Jay thinks her heart is still with her ex-husband.
02:01It makes Jake second-guess his relationship.
02:04You're still living in the past and he's still your home.
02:07Michael and Amy love each other.
02:09They always will.
02:10Part of me thinks Amy still knows me best.
02:12She's stuck in between these two places.
02:15But she doesn't get to really be in either place.
02:18And that really becomes clear around her relationship with Jake.
02:22I've remembered something of us.
02:24So you're really starting to have a lot of memories.
02:26But then these little flashes, she's having a search to give me hope.
02:29Without my memories, I'm trapped in time.
02:34My ex-husband's having a baby with another woman.
02:37And I have a really good man who loves some other version of me.
02:45How do you even fix a thousand cuts?
02:48There's a thousand stitches.
02:50It's interesting to see that juicy procedural,
02:54but there is so much heart.
02:56People will always really connect with all the different stories
03:00and the family elements.
03:02I need to be the doctor that I was.
03:04You saved my life.
03:05I don't know how to thank you.
03:07Just make the most of it.
03:08It's exactly what it needs to be for that season two to say,
03:11we're back.
03:12Let's be clear, you are still auditioning.
03:15I'm not going anywhere.
03:17This season is more intense and unpredictable than ever.
03:21We'll rise.
