00:06:35Penta fresh off the six-man tag team win last week alongside the War Raiders.

00:06:41And Rusev coming off the clash in Paris against Sheamus in the good old-fashioned Donnybrook match.

00:06:47The brutality.

00:06:50That was committed in the Donnybrook match will never be forgotten.

00:06:55A side of Rusev that has been lying dormant for far too long.

00:06:59Whatever was awakened inside of Rusev could spell disaster for Penta and everyone else going forward.

00:07:05This is what Rusev was looking for when he returned to WWE.

00:07:09The accolade with the shillelagh, the broken shillelagh over in Paris.

00:07:14Absolutely ruthless, brutal, relentless.

00:07:16That's what it takes to succeed in today's WWE.

00:07:19I caught up with Rusev earlier today, and he was just talking about how he's still not happy with what he's accomplished since returning to WWE.

00:07:26He's got loftier goals.

00:07:28He wants more success, and he wants to elevate the entire roster, which I don't understand how he perceives he's going to do that.

00:07:36But this man is not to be trifled.

00:07:39It's been an interesting career journey all the way back to 2014.

00:07:42The Royal Rumble, when he made his main roster debut, would lose a match by pinfall or submission for over a year.

00:07:49The recent return, as he looks to power up Penta.

00:07:52Corey, let's get into the contrast in styles that we have in front of us right here.

00:07:57As we're seeing out of the gate, essentially, Penta loves to utilize a high-flying, fast-paced, Lucha Libre-influenced style.

00:08:05Backstabber by the Luchador.

00:08:06Cover here by Penta.

00:08:08And the kick out quickly by Rusev.

00:08:11Take a look at this.

00:08:12Next-level agility by Penta.

00:08:15Double knees to the spine of Rusev.

00:08:17He's going to slow down the Bulgarian group.

00:08:19But if we're talking about styles clash, no pun intended, you've got to talk about Rusev, the super athlete.

00:08:25A man who returned to WWE arguably in better physical condition than when he left.

00:08:30He's a little bit lighter, a little bit leaner, but also a lot more agile.

00:08:34And he's got a bigger gas tank on him now.

00:08:36Rusev isn't afraid these days to go 15, 20, 30 minutes into a match because he knows he can do it.

00:08:41Oh, Penta tried to run down the apron.

00:08:43Oh, no.

00:08:44Oh, no.

00:08:44And made that kick, but instead, Rusev just meets him.

00:08:50Oh, he's sending him our way.

00:08:53Smashing his head right into the front of his reinforced announce desk.

00:08:57Rusev now stalking it down, Penta.

00:09:05Oh, Penta gets out of the way.

00:09:07And can you believe how the steel stairs just went flying as Rusev takes damage?

00:09:13Corey, it takes a lot of momentum, a lot of weight, a lot of velocity to take both levels

00:09:29of the steel stairs and send them flying that far.

00:09:33That's exactly what Rusev just accomplished.

00:09:35That is a whole lot of man, but it was also the opening Penta was waiting for to take control

00:09:40of this contest.

00:09:42Penta knows full well he's never going to overpower Rusev.

00:09:45He's got to stick and move.

00:09:46Got to get creative.

00:09:47Got to show Rusev something maybe the Bulgarian hasn't seen recently.

00:09:51Penta springboarding, but Rusev catches him.

00:09:54Oh, it's a Polish hammer.

00:10:03Rusev still feeling the effects of the collision with the ring stairs.

00:10:09Which is just utilized very effectively to deliver an elbow.

00:10:19I guarantee you, Joe, the Dirty Dom is keeping a close eye on this one as the Intercontinental

00:10:24Champion, understands that he is a marked man.

00:10:27We heard Penta asking for a title opportunity.

00:10:32Slams him right into the barrier.

00:10:33The entire barrier just moved a few feet as now Rusev tracks him into timekeeper.

00:10:40I've been in the ring with Rusev probably six or seven times.

00:10:43He is not only terrifyingly strong, he is shockingly fast.

00:10:47For a man of his size, Rusev moves lightning quick.

00:10:51So it's one thing to deal with the power.

00:10:55It's another thing when that attack is instantly on top of you.

00:10:58Right into the cover.

00:10:58Hooks the legs.

00:11:00It's almost like being in the ring with a tiger.

00:11:02Yeah.

00:11:02You know you can expect the ferocity, but it can come at you in so many different ways.

00:11:07It's almost impossible to adequately prepare.

00:11:10As Penta is finding out firsthand right now.

00:11:13He's standing over Penta and now bullying him, just kicking him.

00:11:23There's still a lot to learn about Penta here in WWE.

00:11:26But we know for sure there is no fear in the man, no quit inside of Penta.

00:11:31Though Rusev's doing his damnedest to try to find some.

00:11:35Suplex and then a series of elbows just dropping in.

00:11:40And this is such a tough predicament to be trapped in if you're Penta.

00:11:43You've got the massive arm wrapped around your chin.

00:11:47All of Rusev's body weight lying on your shoulders.

00:11:50This is exhausting.

00:11:51This is painful.

00:11:53And Penta desperately needs to find a way to escape in short order.

00:11:57That often goes grossly misunderstood of how much is taken out of you just by your opponent's weight.

00:12:04Draping down on you like it is the case with Penta and Rusev.

00:12:18Well, earlier tonight here in Milwaukee,

00:12:20as you look at this massive crowd here at the 5-Serve Arena,

00:12:24Penta was discussing things with GM Adam Pearce,

00:12:26looking to position himself when Rusev interrupted

00:12:29and demanded to know what's next after that great battle we saw against Sheamus in Paris.

00:12:35What's next is these two hooking up right here, right now.

00:12:38This is what Rusev wanted to avoid,

00:12:40allowing Penta to start building momentum,

00:12:43stringing together offense.

00:12:45That is how he does it.

00:12:49The man with zero fear sweeps the leg of Rusev.

00:12:54Oh, that handstand looking to deliver that kick to the sternum,

00:13:35That's once he was able to get to the side.

00:13:39And there goes Rusev,

00:13:41joining the New Day on the outside,

00:13:43and here comes Penta.

00:13:44Oh, but he got met by a massive right hand

00:13:48that has him buckled in half over that middle rope,

00:13:51and now Rusev looks to pounce.

00:13:53One of Rusev's big meat hooks right on the ear.

00:13:56Mexican Destroyer!

00:13:58He ends it!

00:13:59How did Rusev kick out?

00:14:02I think Penta may have been looking for the Mexican Destroyer.

00:14:05Let's take another look.

00:14:05This, in fact, a code red.

00:14:07Just a slight variation.

00:14:09Extremely effective,

00:14:11but not enough to keep the Bulgarian down.

00:14:13Code red doesn't come up.

00:14:23Incredible athleticism to this point from both men.

00:14:27This may have been the moment Penta was waiting for,

00:14:30driving all the air out of Rusev's lungs

00:14:33with that vicious code red.

00:14:37Now stomping away at the abdomen of the Bulgarian Super.

00:14:43He wants to go up top.

00:14:46Oh, and there is Woods.

00:14:50As he takes Penta out of position for a moment.

00:29:10the intercontinental championship from becky lynch excuse me becky lynch this is an opportunity to

00:29:15take a step toward redemption tonight for nikki first time these two have gone one-on-one however

00:29:22when we were visiting with nikki earlier today she was quick to remind us hey listen you got to go back

00:29:28to 2018 that women's royal rumble we were the final two in the ring the first ever women's yes

00:29:38very very strong distinction for both of these women

00:29:42nikki bella obviously already a hall of famer no doubt in my mind oscar will join her someday

00:29:51some of the arguing that spurred things on backstage continuing here right in the center of the rig

00:30:00a drop kick by bella i need to brush up on my japanese joe but whatever's going on between the

00:30:05kabuki warriors and io sky certainly confusing tensions continue to rise

00:30:10poor kairi just constantly getting herself in trouble with the empress anybody who comes with

00:30:14oh man oh man that might have ended the match man oh man and kairi feels it as well

00:30:24oscar with that knee straight across the nose of nikki bella now driving the knee right to the back of

00:30:30nikki bella oscar one of the most skilled strikers in wwe no absence of malice in anything this woman does

00:30:41including this predicament in which nikki bella

00:30:46trapped between the ropes well the leverage there with the leg over the head the arm being snapped back

00:30:52and that's an opportunity for nikki comes back with a right and a spine buster and hooks the leg

00:30:59and oscar gets that right shoulder up kairi's running shout some motivation

00:31:05oh missing that baseball slide drop kick attempt and now kairi found in the middle of it all using

00:31:13her as a human shield here in milwaukee nikki says oh oscar was waiting on it cory the empress takes control

00:31:33the empress of tomorrow just landing a kick on nikki bella she is hypnotic she is lethal

00:32:29i think to this point nikki's done a great job of sticking with what's working that being the right

00:32:52start dropping the heavy artillery sometimes you just got to make a fight out of it that's exactly right

00:33:18that was a fight or flight response from both women

00:33:21just unloading whatever they could possibly muster at the moment oscar charges in but is met

00:33:28by a big boot

00:33:32and i i think oscar may have gotten a little overconfident i agree there was no hook at the leg

00:33:37not direct weight on the shoulders of nikki bella and i guarantee you if oscar makes the mistake

00:33:41of disrespecting nikki too frequently it's gonna backfire on her

00:33:48i'm gonna stretch her out again

00:33:51time and again she's been able to use the leverage and specifically

00:33:55on that left shoulder and left arm

00:33:59oscar is dangerous on the ground with her submissions as she is standing toe to toe

00:34:04with well-educated fists and feet always something to be dealt with with any opponent

00:34:10oscar just ripping bella down to the canvas once again

00:34:20so it looks to me like oscar's enjoying herself right now like she's playing with her food
