00:00All right, let's move to the WNBA, where two teams locked up playoff spots.
00:03The Indiana Fever, who have been dealt with a ton of adversity this season,
00:06including the absence of star Kaitlyn Clark, clinched one of those spots,
00:10making consecutive trips to the postseason for the first time since 2016.
00:15Meanwhile, the Golden State Valkyries became the very first expansion team
00:18to make the postseason, while also setting a WNBA attendance record,
00:22selling out all 22 of their home games.
00:25So, Renee, which is sort of the better story here?
00:28Both. They're both so great for the WNBA,
00:30because we're in the final week of the regular season.
00:32We're looking at the MVP race between Afeisha Collier and Asia Wilson.
00:36We're looking at the teams that were eliminated that are now preparing for the draft and the future.
00:40And then you have teams battling, these two that lock in a playoff spot.
00:43Unfortunately, for the best-of-three series for Golden State,
00:46with that attendance record that they set, they will not be playing at the Chase Center
00:50because there is the Labor Cup, the international tennis tournament that's going to be happening.
00:54So they will not have a home game for the first series.
00:56But it's remarkable what both teams have accomplished,
00:58especially without Kaitlyn Clark for the Fever.
01:00And now we get to see who gets that last spot.
01:02Will it be the Seattle Storm?
01:04Will it be the Los Angeles Sparks as we're in the final games?
01:06And by the way, the Valkyries and the Fever,
01:08number one and number two in attendance this season.
01:10I see you next year.
01:30Let's go.
