Express & Star reporter Daniel Walton braves the charity abseil at Molineux Stadium.

00:00So here we are inside the fantastic and beautiful Marlonew Stadium

00:06out of the little home of the wharves. So what we're doing is we're going to be, as you can see behind me,

00:10the ropes coming down the top looks like works but it's not. What we're going to be doing is

00:13we're actually going to be abseiling down from the top onto the green itself. So we're a bit nervous,

00:20a bit nervous, legs are shaking a little bit, but we're already harnessed up. I've assured me that

00:23it's pretty safe. So we're just going to go get fitted for a helmet and then we'll go to the top

00:28and see if we can make it down. That's it. Into the danger zone.

00:38That's it. And then, yeah, just drop that down in front of you.

00:42You've got grip to your arm, just go to that grip of it, and down by you.

00:46That's it, just go over the edge and then you'll be super happy after that.

00:50So that's it. That's it. There you go, just keep going like that. Get that hand underneath

01:06So yeah, here we are back at ground level. As you can see, they're sending the next ones down. So yeah,

01:12the legs are a bit shaking, got to say that. It's a bit high when you look at it. It doesn't

01:16look too high when you're looking at it now. But when you're actually coming down and you're looking

01:20over the edge, yeah, it does look a lot higher than what you're thinking. It's a brilliant view

01:24from Molineux. A brilliant view of the Molineux though. You can see absolutely the other parts

01:28of it. The nice backdrop of Royal Brampton as well. Fantastic experience. Brilliant way

01:32to raise money for charity as well for anybody thinking of getting involved for the next one.

01:36But yeah, fantastic team and brilliant experience. You don't often get to see the absolute roof

01:41of the Molineux, so it's definitely a story for a lifetime that one.
