00:00Sometimes the best transfers aren't always the most expensive, and Leicester's miracle
00:04season would never have happened if it wasn't for £5 million signing N'Golo Kante.
00:09In 2015, he was signed for just £5.6 million and the difference that he made to not just
00:14Leicester but football in general was staggering.
00:17He made the role his own, everyone associated Kante from that point and onwards into being
00:22the Kante role.
00:23He instantly transformed Leicester's midfield, covering every blade of grass and driving
00:27them to that 5,000 to 1 Premier League title.
00:30And Chelsea snapped him up where he won another league title, the Champions League and even
00:34the World Cup with France in between.
00:36This is an unknown signing, someone that not even his own players knew who he was when he
00:40first arrived in the door, into being one of the most influential players in Premier League
00:43history and in the last 10 years, one of the greatest miracles that have ever happened in
00:48the history of the sport.
00:50And when we talk about the Kante role nowadays, I still struggle to think of many players that
00:54have been able to replicate him, just to the level of the amount of distance that man
00:58could cover.
00:59It was insane.
01:00So when we're talking about Premier League bargains, we're also talking about Premier League
01:04legends.
