00:00I'm going to be spending the next 100 days in Grand Theft Auto 5, except everything is realistic.
00:17From the neighborhoods, to the gangs, and even the jobs that I'll need to do to survive.
00:22Everything feels real. And my goal during these 100 days is to legally buy a plane.
00:27And you might be wondering, why a plane?
00:30Well, ever since I was a kid, I've always loved planes.
00:33And one of my first memorable gifts was a toy plane from my dad.
00:36And on the box, it said, reach for the skies.
00:39And funny enough, that's kind of how I've always lived my life.
00:42Always reaching for something that just seems so out of reach.
00:45That plane was more than just a toy to me. It became my favorite thing.
00:49And I've always wanted a real one, but life didn't go as planned.
00:52And that dream kind of just got lost.
00:54Also, getting a plane in real life is impossible.
00:58So I decided to see if I can achieve my goal here, in a real life version of Grand Theft Auto.
01:03And that all starts on day one.
01:05On the first day, I spawned near Walmart and Dee Dee's.
01:08And according to my map, I was in the middle of nowhere.
01:11And the nearest town was about 2,000 miles away.
01:13So that meant I had a long way to go.
01:16Not only to get this $10 million plane, but also to the nearest city.
01:19So I started walking with literally nothing but my draws and a dream.
01:23I made it.
01:25To the city.
01:26But by the time I got there, it was already dark.
01:28So I decided to find a place to sleep.
01:30And without any money, a place like this was my only option.
01:33So I'll see you in the morning.
01:35On day two, I woke up and accidentally ended up fighting a homeless man.
01:40I don't know.
01:41And let's just say things escalated quickly.
01:43I need a dick.
01:45I need a dick.
01:46Damn.
01:47Oh.
01:48What you got?
01:49What you got?
01:50What you got?
01:51What you got?
01:52Weed.
01:53Oh yeah, I'm off the scene.
01:54I'm off the scene.
01:55I'm off the scene.
01:56After handing out knuckle sandwiches, it was time for me to find a job.
01:59Because I literally had nothing.
02:01One Grand Theft Auto day is 48 minutes in real life.
02:03And if I was going to make 10 million dollars in 100 days, I needed cash fast.
02:07There were a couple of jobs scattered around the map.
02:09But I thought it would be crazy if I showed it to my first job in my drawers and with a dirty ass t-shirt.
02:15So my first goal was to find a way to make money for a new outfit.
02:18So for the next two days, I tried playing music around the city for some cash.
02:22And honestly, it was going pretty well too.
02:24But for some reason, while I was playing, the NPCs just kept cursing me out.
02:28Pinche puto.
02:29Stupid.
02:30You're worthless.
02:31Fuck's sake.
02:32You unenlightened fool.
02:33You are just shit.
02:34Someone's filming this asshole.
02:35Oh shit.
02:36Dirty loser.
02:37Screw you.
02:38Let me hold a dollar though.
02:43Let me hold a dollar.
02:44Look like a broke Taylor Swift.
02:47Bitch.
02:48Okay.
02:49My fault.
02:50Ugly ass Chip.
02:51What's wrong with you?
02:52Chip is crazy.
02:53Day five.
02:54I had made almost $300 from my music career.
02:56Of course, that was nowhere near my $10 million goal, but this was progress because now I can at least afford a new outfit.
03:02All right, bros.
03:03I'm currently walking to the nearest clothing store because I don't have a car and stealing one is illegal and I'm a stand up citizen.
03:10Plus, I need a new outfit.
03:11Like, look at the back of my shirt, bro.
03:13Oh my God.
03:14I made it.
03:15To the store.
03:16Yay.
03:17And as soon as I entered.
03:18Get on the fucking floor right now.
03:20Yeah, man.
03:21I'm cool.
03:22Hey, fuck with us.
03:23We'll lay you down.
03:24Just be cool.
03:25You're a man, aren't you?
03:26Do something.
03:27What is she talking about?
03:28Did she not see Tupac with a glass?
03:29That lady was out of her damn mind.
03:30If she thought I was going to chase those guys.
03:31Wait.
03:32How much money was in that bag?
03:33And that's when it hit me.
03:34If I catch those guys, whatever money is in that bag is legally mine.
03:38I don't know if that's how the law works, but nigga, that's how I work.
03:42Earn up money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money,
03:59money, money, money, money...
04:00Hey, come back here!
04:04Come back here!
04:06Damn, nigga, who the hell am I chasing?
04:10Nigga, who the hell am I chasing?
04:12Noah Lyles, nigga, the...
04:16C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon
04:18Hey, hey, hey, sir, I'm gonna need to commandeer your vehicle.
04:21I'm currently making a citizen's arrest. Get out the car, nigga.
04:27I'm sorry, fool.
04:30What the...
04:32What the...
04:36Oh, shit, fuck, take it, motherfucker!
04:38And take it, I did.
04:40No diddy.
04:41Turns out, in that bag was $2,000.
04:43And I don't know if you can tell, but I was pretty happy when I seen that.
04:52It was only $2,000, but getting that money meant I was closer to achieving my goal.
04:57But, while walking away, I started to contemplate if I should actually take the money back.
05:02I know, but the whole goal was to do things legally.
05:05If I take this money, I definitely know it's not legal.
05:08So...
05:10I took it back.
05:11You got the money!
05:12Oh, thank God!
05:14Next time you come in, it's 25% off, okay?
05:17I know it was the right thing to do, but to be honest, I didn't want to take that money back.
05:22And seeing that $2,000 disappear like that...
05:25Man, that sucks.
05:26But, hey!
05:27At least we got a discount!
05:2825% off!
05:29Which, I went to redeem the very next day.
05:32Well, hello there!
05:33Hello, ma'am!
05:34I'm back!
05:35I hope you remember my 25% discount, too, because if you don't, I'm going to rob you.
05:41Drip successfully acquired.
05:42Hey, hey!
05:43Y'all rate my fit in the comments, 1 through 10.
05:44Hey, matter of fact, cue slow motion walking out the store montage.
05:49Hey, hey, y'all rate my fit in the comments, 1 through 10.
05:52Hey, matter of fact, cue slow motion walking out the store montage.
05:55store montage. Now that I had the right clothes, it was time for me to land a real job. That same
06:22day, I went to two different job locations, and luckily, I got accepted to both. One was for a
06:26hotel, and the other one was a private driver job. Hey, new car. Who dis? It's actually, it's actually
06:35not my car. It's the company's car. Well, hello there, sir. Hello there. Is this John? Is this
06:42John? Did you see that Miranda Cowan sex tape? Holy shit. Miranda Cowan? Did you see that Shannon
06:49sharp? After the next couple of days, if not weeks, I continued to do these two jobs, but the
06:54Uber job paid more, so that's what I focused on, and at this point, things were okay. I was making
06:59money, and every ride I completed took me closer to my goal. But after a while, just like in real life,
07:13things got repetitive fast. Day after day, it was the same routine. Pick up, drop off, do the second
07:19job, pick up, drop off, do the second job again, pick up, drop off. My point is, the cycle was
07:25endless, and before I knew it, a month had passed. And between the two jobs, I'd managed to save about
07:3120,000, which wasn't bad, but it was still a long way from my goal of 10 million. But at least I was
07:37making money. So I continued those jobs. The days blurred together, and I just kept grinding. But after
07:44a while, it felt pointless. How was I supposed to make 10 million dollars by mostly driving people
07:49around? Honestly, I was feeling discouraged. And around day 35, things did not get better.
07:54I forgot about work. You miss work? What? Ah, whatever. And the pay from the Uber job wasn't
08:00cutting it anymore. At this point, I didn't know what to do. I knew I needed to change my plans, but
08:05I didn't know how. And to make matters worse, while driving around the city, I happened to get pulled
08:15over. And it turns out, I have a warrant for my arrest. Yeah, remember that homeless guy I
08:34accidentally knocked out on day two? Yeah, he wasn't knocked out. He was dead.
08:41Breaking news.
08:43Good evening, Los Angeles. Tonight, a shocking story has unfolded in the heart of our city.
08:49What started as a seemingly simple altercation has escalated into a tragedy, resulting in the death
08:56of a homeless man. We now go live to our reporter on the scene, who's standing by with a witness to
09:02this tragic event. Over to you.
09:04Yeah, I saw what happened. I was minding my business, and out of nowhere, I heard...
09:09Need him dead!
09:10And the next thing I knew...
09:11Ha ha!
09:13The brother was dead.
09:18Also, shout out to my boy Ray Ray. I'm on the news, nigga!
09:22Anyways, the cops were after me, and there was no damn way that I was getting arrested.
09:26So, shut up. I'm not getting arrested.
09:30Honestly, I can't believe that after all this time of trying to get my plane legally and realistically,
09:37I broke my rule on the second day without even realizing it.
09:41After that, once I figured out there was no way I'd make $10 million legally in 60 days,
09:47I started thinking.
09:49I've modded this GTA world to be as close to reality as possible.
09:53And what happens in reality?
09:55Crime!
09:56Especially Los Angeles. Over there, it's practically a local sport.
10:00So, if everyone else is doing it, doesn't that mean I'm just fitting in?
10:03I mean, I've worked hard to make this game feel real, so in a way, not doing crime would
10:07almost be a crime.
10:09In conclusion, instead of achieving my dreams peacefully like a dumbass, I've decided to achieve
10:14my dreams by any means necessary. And that's how I convinced myself to do crime.
10:20You smell like shit.
10:24Because I made this decision, I thought it would be smart to finally get some protection.
10:30Uh, do you by any chance sell condoms?
10:34Get protection?
10:35Get out!
10:35Cha-ching! Guns acquired.
10:37After that, I started my life as a criminal by robbing my local corner stores.
10:42You already got this.
10:42Put the money in the bag.
10:46Put the money in the bag.
10:47Put the money in the bag!
10:48Put the money in the bag!
10:49Oh!
10:52Put the money in my ass, nigga!
10:53No!
10:54Fuck!
10:55Yeah, that didn't really work out, but it's fine because I had another option.
10:59While driving for my Uber job, I happened to meet a guy named Jay.
11:02And Jay's not exactly a model citizen.
11:05In fact, Jay is in a game.
11:06And he told me,
11:07If you ever want to make some real money, hit me up.
11:10So, that's what I did.
11:11And he told me to meet him somewhere in the south side of LA.
11:14It was a sketchy spot, but I still went.
11:16And before I knew it, I was part of his family.
11:18Or gang, I guess.
11:20And the first thing Jay told me to do was ride around with his crew.
11:23This kind of felt like a weird-ass team-building exercise where we assaulted old people and then vandalized property.
11:28I don't know, but it was fun.
11:30And after completing the task, we headed back to the hideout.
11:33And as soon as we got there, a rival gang attacked us.
11:37We're getting attacked?
11:38But instead of panicking, I saw this as a chance to prove myself.
11:42So, I went out guns blazing.
11:45The fight lasted about three minutes.
12:03And after that, Jay must have been impressed.
12:05Because the next day, he gave me a serious job.
12:08Moving product.
12:09In that trunk, you might see drugs.
12:12But all I saw was money.
12:13And I knew exactly what to do.
12:15Wait till night.
12:16Stand on an easily shootable corner.
12:18And sell that product.
12:19So, for the next several days, I sold my product to old people, young people, fat, skinny people.
12:25Crankheads came in all different shapes and sizes.
12:27Even a paramedic, on the job, came for the cocoa.
12:31What can I do you for, sir?
12:32Why are you dressed like that?
12:33Hold on, take that.
12:34Yeah, give me the money, man.
12:36There we go.
12:37There we go.
12:39Wait.
12:40Was that nigga a paramedic?
12:42Anyways, to be more efficient, I started dealing for my car.
12:45And after a few days, I was up 11 grand.
12:48Not exactly legal, but who cares?
12:50It was faster than my old jobs.
12:52Whoever said crime doesn't pay was probably never a criminal.
12:55For the first time, I was actually making some serious money quickly.
12:59This was great, but also terrifying because apparently, gang wars are a frequent thing.
13:04A rival gang fight happens like every three days.
13:06So, I was consistently almost close to dying.
13:09But I thought, the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward, right?
13:12I was making money from these easy tasks.
13:14So, I continued them until this one mission changed my whole perspective.
13:19Jay set up something against the rival gang.
13:21He called this a brawl between boys.
13:23No weapons, just fists.
13:25I automatically knew that this mission was about the honor of our gang.
13:28Honored to be chosen, I got some guys and went to the spot.
13:31And the moment we got there, the fight started immediately.
13:33It was a bloody battle.
13:58Punches were thrown everywhere.
14:00But we ended up winning against a rival gang.
14:02But afterwards, while everyone was celebrating, I looked at the bodies on the floor and thought,
14:07If this was actually real life, I would have almost died.
14:10And for what?
14:11If I was one of these bodies laying here, they'd just leave me like they did the others.
14:17Walking away battered and bruised, I thought to myself,
14:20I'm never going to achieve my goal if I end up dead.
14:23So, when I got back, I decided to leave the family.
14:26Anyways, at this point, I'm like, why even try anymore?
14:32Because honestly, how am I going to achieve my dreams of getting a plane in real life
14:36if I can't even do it in a game?
14:38I know it's not that deep, but it started to feel personal.
14:41Like, I was failing both in the game and outside of it.
14:45I've been chasing this one thing this whole time.
14:48And now, I'm so far off track, it doesn't even feel like my dream anymore.
14:52But I couldn't just stop.
14:54Not after everything I've gone through.
14:56With only a few days left, I knew I had to take some big risks
14:59if I still wanted a shot at reaching my goal.
15:02And to take that risk, I knew exactly who to call.
15:05Hello? It's Lester.
15:12Are you looking for a job?
15:17And we have a winner.
15:19I'm making a plane when we're ready.
15:21We have the alarm system when we're even.
15:25We're going to be running for a minute.
15:26We're going to be smart.
15:27We pump a little knockout gas for the air system in a second.
15:31We're going to be in the sky.
15:32You know how I feel.
15:35We're going to be in the sky.
16:05We're going to be in the sky.
16:06We're going to be out.
16:08We're going to be in the sky.
16:08We're going to be out.
16:17Stop your vehicle now!
16:31LSD! Stop your vehicle now, or you'll react to it!
16:37Stop the fucking car immediately!
16:40Dispatch! Suspect heading off to the freeway!
16:52This is Joe for five! Suspect vehicle is heading east!
16:55Picture 13!
17:10Robbery suspects have emerged in the L.S. River.
17:14Opposition 15. Request assistance.
17:31Good morning, Los Angeles.
17:33A daring bank robbery spree has left the city of Los Angeles on high alert.
17:37Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect described as a six-foot-tall African-American male
17:44who managed to pull off multiple heists before making a dramatic escape by diving into the waters off the coast.
17:52The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
17:55Residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
18:00Stay safe, Los Angeles.
18:01And remember, any information could be crucial in bringing this suspect to justice.
18:07The end of the day...
18:09Star Wars
18:19Play acquired.
18:24Not legally, but I made it happen.
18:25legally but i made it happen i achieved my goal and playing games like gta always makes me realize
18:32something and it's that chasing big goals isn't always about reaching the end because if you get
18:38everything you want but end up losing yourself along the way was it really worth it sometimes
18:43it's really just about trusting the process and enjoying the journey and i tend to forget that
18:49anyways i got the plane and you know what even though it's not in real life i think my younger
18:55self would still be proud proud nigga you should have robbed the bank first
