00:11Once again, the state-run sports program of the country, PTV Sports, has gained international recognition
00:18after being included in the 151 nominations across 28 categories at the Content Asia Awards 2025 held in Taipei, Taiwan on September 4.
00:28The nomination is in the category of Best Sports Magazine Program Made in Asia,
00:32a prestigious award given only to exceptional sports content in the region.
00:37Among the highlighted entries of PTV Sports are original segments like Live Better and Sports Trip.
00:42The Content Asia Awards is one of the leading award-giving buddies in the region,
00:47honoring TV and digital creators across Asia-Pacific.
00:50PTV Sports competes in the same category as major sports networks from South Korea and Indonesia.
00:58We're going to celebrate excellence in Asian television, in Asian content creation.
01:04And really, we focus on television, but we're broadening it out.
01:07Like, we're broadening it to microdrama.
01:09We've broadened it to short form.
01:11So we'll be looking at possibly podcasts.
01:13But the idea is to celebrate creativity and excellence.
01:16Sometimes Asia is a little bit at a disadvantage because of the lower budgets,
01:22because the industry is really uneven, and everybody wants to be American and Hollywood.
01:28And actually, we have our own pluses.
01:32We have our own attributes that are reflected on screen.
01:35So that's what it is, essentially, to celebrate us.
01:39This kind of recognition is not a year for PTV Sports.
01:43Back in 2024, the program won a bronze medal from the same award,
01:48giving body a testament to the consistent quality of its work
01:51and the program's continuous evolution year after year.
